OOC info
This site details the existence of a character on The Inquisition: Legacy MUD. As such you should consider most of this OOC info and not usable in-game unless explicitly noted as such.
The Jester has no real name except those given to her by those talking to her. And whereas she can be contacted over in-game mail or tells through “Yayinne”, this is not a name to be considered her “real” name or something anyone could figure out (not even herself) – a full name had to be assigned upon character creation, that is all. Please respect this namelessness despite the game not fully supporting it in code.
Description
This woman, despite being an adult, is of a very short stature and looks
up at most other people she meets, male as well as female. She is small in
more ways than mere height above the sea — her entire frame is thin, her
limbs being sinewy and flexible but severely lacking in power. Her body
would give a frail impression had it not been so animated; some part of her
body is constantly moving as if she was a flimsy piece of cloth, able to be
caught by the wind and dance away at any moment. Her face is round and
tanned from outdoor life, surrounded as it is by an unruly tuft of black
shoulder-length hair. It is very hard to judge her exact age; anything
from a giddy teenager to a woman in her thirties are both possible guesses
from her appearance.
Known facts (usable IC)
This tiny Tubori woman is known to most simply as “the Jester”. But
when people asks she is known to have them come up with their own names for her. As a result she is known by different names by different people. She claims to have been a fool long before stepping off the Tuborian ship that once brought her here.
A full bard of the Guild of Troubadours (ap Jester?) , Word is that the
Jester could also, if she wanted, titulate herself the Court Jester of
Garin, retained as she is by the Dmitreva family, whose colours she wears
whenever acting in their employ. This would in principle make her a form
of gentry, although this seems a contradiction of terms when it comes to a
fool …
The Jester is known to always be in a cheerful mood — and is determined to do the same unto you. Nothing provokes her more than a deep frown. The Jester talks a lot. And fast. All in Tuborian accent. You shouldn’t
really take anything she says seriously though – she is just a fool! She
doesn’t know any better! Remember, only fools take heed of a fool’s words!
Misc
For further information about this flimsy little woman, just ask her yourself! She’ll be all too happy to tell you all sorts of mind boggling and silly things about herself that may or may not be true.
