The steep rise and fall of the green, rolling hills that make up the Volsuan barony are host to both sheep and precious metals, the primary means of support for the House. As such, the people of the Volsuan barony tend to either be scattered in small, shepherding hamlets or concentrated in densely populated mining towns, of which there are still two of any real prominence. The largest of the mining towns, called Swan Point and just large enough to be considered a city, is home to the heavily fortified main Keep of House Volsuan, though they have a country estate on the other side of the barony.
