Gailiech's lands are southwest of Lithmore, along the Farin Border and along the mountains to the west. The land encompasses 2 small villages and a large castle that is nestled amongst the Tarn Mountains to the west. The Castle, wherein lies the family Keep of Gailiech's noble house, was built shortly after the Consolidation to safeguard the southern approaches to Lithmore and to keep the Hillmen from thinking too much about attacking Lithmore. The villages are Inbican, on the Southern Border, which is a well-used trade route to Lithmore itself, and Gailiech, the larger of the two villages, which outlies the castle. The land is rich in metal ores, in the Tarn Mountains, as well as a viable trade route through to Lithmore, where a minor toll has kept the House coffers more or less full.

House ab Blackwell was established by an officer, Miles Wymer, who distinguished himself during the Consolidation as a part of Dav's army. The current Marquis descends from him.
