Sinjiara
Sinjiara is bordered by the Tubori ducal seat to the northwest, Redcliffs on its northeast, Strongjaw to the South, the Dralth proper to the east, and Lightwater Bay to the west. As with any Tubori barony on Lightwater Bay, there is a heavy emphasis on seafaring. Everything from fishing to pearl diving is a popular part of the economy, as well as import and export at its many harbors.
However, Sinjiara, with so much access to not only copious amounts of sand but also various other agents in the mountains, is partially known for the high quality and varied designs of its glass. While the glassmaking is a goodly part of the activities in the more coastal areas, the real prize for the barony is the ginger farms in the foothills of the mountainous areas and up near the border with Redcliffs. The climate and soil are very well-suited to the ginger trade, and the proximity to the Bay makes for relatively easy export.
Due to the heavy amount of trade that goes in and out of Sinjiara (further bolstered by it being between Redcliffs and Lightwater bay, amongst other things), the barony is not exactly overrun with opulence but is wealthy enough that even the poorest of peasants is generally well-fed and reasonably well-clothed.
Lord Duren le Dumitru is currently in power, with his daughter Shasa le Dumitru the acknowledged heir.
