Awan Ride

In 358, Airic ab Awan perished in combat due to Daravi incursions. Leaving no heirs, Cellan ab Samael ennobled her longtime Keeper of the Seal Gavin ab Harkness and granted Awan Ride's title to him before she eventually married him. He kept the title after their marriage, serving as Queen's Consort instead of King while she still ruled.

In 362, Gavin ab Harkness was killed by a bear, suspected to have been placed in his chambers by some enemy. The County passes on to the former queen according to his will.
