Since the land itself lies on a peninsula jutting into the Kirulean sea, tipped by the Castellan of Nimrock, it is rich with heavy deposits of minerals from the sea spray. Rather than causing the land to be barren it has enriched the soil over time and the farmers of the Barony have adapted to growing crops which thrive in it.

The land making up the Barony has not always been free of conflict. Following King Dav's declarations and the associated uproar by merchant families many of the them began spending more time at their seasonal homes on the land.
