Sandwiches!

So, in an attempt to cheer up those of us who need cheering and to poke holes in any tension that may still be plaguing our base, and because I only just discovered the sandwich TI-ism after Rothgar mentioned it on thread rename, I am dedicating this thread to sandwiches. May it always remind us that things don't always have to be so serious, even when we can't see it that way.

So, what's the best, worst, most interesting, etc sandwich you've ever eaten?

I'd have to say the best sandwich I've ever eaten is Panera Bread's steak and white cheddar panini, which I'm totally placing under the title of sandwich. A nice tuna melt never goes amiss either.

The worst sandwich I think I've ever eaten is an Arby's chicken sandwich. It was dry, and the sauce tasted like someone vomited in it before serving it. Gag.

Panera Bread has wonderful sandwiches! I really like their garden vegetable sandwich with pesto and feta cheese.

Super stoned one day in my youth, I once asked my equally-stoned friend to make me a sandwich.

Two doughnuts, american cheese, sausage, bacon lattice, and egg. Deep fried and set in the oven to dry out for about twenty minutes.

It was like there was a heaven for mouths and it took me there.

Think the worst I ever had was at a pit stop near Georgia running from Camp Blanding to Fort Meade. Got a tuna sandwich that made things come out of me that the good Lord never intended. Three days later I was riding the silver bullet and basically being a feverish mess.

I have a strange love affair with Jimmy Johns. I had never heard of them, but then my room mate in college took me when we were on our way to a LARP in Peoria. We ordered some and it really was so fast I flipped and.... I really want to have them again. They weren't extravagant, but they were good.

I have a Jimmy John's right down the road. They really are good without being outrageous. Their bread is just perfect.

Without a doubt the best sandwich I have ever had was the Caribbean Roast sandwich from Paseo.

I have to warn you though, if you ever decide you want to try one the next time you're in Seattle, get their early. They often sell out.

Best: Sorentos Subs makes a great salami, american cheese, ham, shredded lettuce, onion, vinegar & oil, and salt & pepper submarine. Park Ave in Freehold NJ.

Worst: My father in law convinced me to try cheese and peanut better.

Surprisingly good: Potato chip sandwhiches.

Utterly barbaric. I don't even know how those two flavors work with one another.

Google's 4.8 and 4.5 / 5 reviews of the dish "Grilled cheese and peanut butter sandwiches," however, confirms that this is indeed a human thing that real humans do.
