Would it be possible to add a simple, Smoking Tabac recipe to herbalism? I'm envisioning it as more of a "prop" RP recipe so folks can show off their pipe and smoke ring skillz without getting too altered by code effects.

There should be a tabac recipe in herbalism with really mild, entirely role play effects already. Addiction and withdrawal needs adjusted, but a simpler recipe shouldn't be required unless there's a bug somewhere with something missing.

I think the recipe you're talking about is Sweet Tabac, but that's Tabac and Cloves. Smoking Tabac would just be tabac, similarly to the existing recipes Smoking Floleaf (just floleaf) and Smoking Coamjar (just coamjar).

Especially since tabac is supposed to be like "The" casual smoking herb, it seems like there should be a way to smoke it without adding other stuff. I'm not personally worried about addiction or side effects - floleaf and coamjar are each probably more addictive.

It's not a huge deal given there's no code motivation to smoke tabac, so we can just pretend, but it seems like a basic recipe that is missing.

Ah, tabac can just be smoked in its raw form, it looks like.

Oh, awesome! Is it possible to remove decay from the base item then?
