Some ideas were posted in OOC in game and asked to be dropped in here, so here is what I remember:

Bottle of fog: can't see who is in a room when it opens

random ideas about element stones(some gamebreaking/too much coding, possible):
air stone that gives you a different intro/desc when worn
earthstone that lets you control someone elses pet for a short time
having horsehairs that actually turned into eels when thrown in water

that's all I can remember.

Maybe this is a place where multi-element magic could be looked at? IE a water mage needing a reagent from a fire mage for a high level potion?

For air and void... air deals with light and void deals with stealth and the mind. Perhaps build on those themes? Mages will always want items that help them hide objects on themselves or have a means to escape a sticky situation or detection.

I think it would be nice to keep the duplication of existing spell effects to a minimum.

Okay I had another idea, but this one is huge in it's potential, possibly hard to code and gamebreaking.

An item, requiring a ton of magic, probably a significant amount of power be each elemental mage(xp/ranks/qp combo?) that when it is used on someone, it actually makes the person Tainted(unawakened mage).

Like I said, it would be powerful, probably gamebreaking, but it occurred to me yesterday and I thought i'd put it up.
