Dorothy states, "OOC Chat Rules:

- Approach each topic with the mindset that each person is doing the best they can with the knowledge they have, staff and player alike.
- Please avoid topics around current events. Nothing should be revealed in an OOC meeting that others would prefer to find out in game ICly.
- This is not the correct forum for criticism of a specific player or a topic centered around one player. If there are concerns about a specific player, please address that with staff privately.
- This is not the correct forum for bringing up policy violations. If there are instances of perceived policy violations, please address that with staff privately."

Cleo says, "This is when all of the pickles get sacrificed. "

Bigman queries, "Who's scribin'? "

Musketeer exclaims, "Oh yay!"

Dorothy muses to Bigman, "Good catch! Who is my scribe?"

Musketeer gets a teeter-tottering toy featuring a knight and a moneylender.

InvestSouthside gets a teeter-tottering toy featuring a knight and a moneylender.

Mirielle claims, "I can, if no one else wants to."

Highroller gets his selfie in with musketeer and a teeter-tottering toy featuring a knight and a moneylender

Soulless claims, "Yes. Do."

Dorothy nods to Mirielle

Soulless says, "I don't want to hog all the qp lol."

Dorothy exclaims to Mirielle, "Thank you! Once we get the website back up we will be posting all meetings, so if you can hold onto that or pass it to Karrin that would be amazing!"

Dorothy has transferred Capitalism. [OOC]

Capitalism cheers.

Capitalism gets a teeter-tottering toy featuring a knight and a moneylender.

Mirielle declaims, "Absolutely!"

Sororitas stops using a teeter-tottering toy featuring a knight and a moneylender.

Dorothy muses, "Alright! Scribe found, thank you Mirielle, and now the real question:

RP check in?"

Sparkles claims, "It's been a busy, busy week."

Meiari claims, "That's for sure"

Soulless says, "Lots of fun. :D Less emotional, I think. "

Sororitas states, "Was a pretty great weak I had a lot of fun with folks. Some touching moments. Some drama."

Soulless states, "But still good."

Bigman states, "Bit less active, currently. But got some stuff done."

Dorothy claims to Bigman, "We all have those weeks"

Motherof says, "Mostly crafting because my brain is fried"

Sparkles says, "Thanks for folks who came out to the events this week."

Motherof claims, "But SOME awesome scenes"

Highroller states, "aaaaaaaaaaaaah] It was fun. creams more] Big shoutout to the people who made the Seneschal debate interesting, and fun and AAHDAS"

MaskedHarlequin claims, "I had a grand time. Lots of fun drama when I got out and about and been fun to watch. Debate was great as a spectator."

Highroller states, "SCREAMs more. Oh my lord."

Harrow claims, "Highroller does WHAT more"

HIEROPHANT claims, "If you want to put a [ around something, try {x"

HIEROPHANT claims, "Er, uh, { and then the ]"

Highroller states, "Yes, I should have. Firmly."

Cleo claims, "RP was STRESSFUL. Guh. But really enticing and immersive. "

Highroller states, "Anyway, big shoutout to everyone who engaged in the politics, really fun."

Sororitas claims, "For other funny symbols check Help Colors for more important ones."

Dorothy grins.

Dorothy claims, "Sounds like we've had a good mix of drama and excitement then. With a sprinkling of productiveness and crafting. Lovely.

I do have an anonymous thank you to the Reeves for some spooky fun."

Dorothy finishes abruptly, "Moving on - if you have any topics for after the staff updates let me know! If you all would rather wait till Karrin and Temi are here, also fine by me - I won't judge"

Soulless states, "Well now I feel judged."

Dorothy finishes abruptly, "Though that will be next week - I don't expect them today :D"

Motherof states, "I always forget all my topics when it's meeting time"

Dorothy finishes abruptly to Motherof, "That's totally fine - feel free to use the board system if that helps"

Motherof states, "Ah yes. I idea'd something this week."

Dorothy says, "I'll take that as a tentative no to topics for now - if that changes feel free to DM me or mention something out loud if that changes."

Dorothy claims, "As for staff -

Karrin has been working with furthering the plot (yay rats), thank you for Harrow's help with building those mobs. She's also been working on re-creating what she needed to work with a Murder Mystery activity that she will be hosting, in conjunction with Harrow puppeting the MC, because she was a dummy and deleted it. Look for info in game - the teasers and rules have been passed to the Troubadours for distribution. There was also a policy issue this week - it has been handled."

Dorothy finishes abruptly to Jiraiya, "We just went over RP and started staff updates, if you have any topics let me know or save them for next week - no skin off my nose either way :)"

Jiraiya shakes his head and says, "Thanks."

Dorothy states, "Temi's update is the following: "Oh, what did I do. Helped Harrow with some more training, responded to some more requests, but mostly a light week""

Dorothy nods to Harrow. "And now for Harrow's update!"

Harrow claims, "Personally, I did some building for various people, did some stuff for the header plot, and also ran my first normal plot! That was particularly fun because that particular plot culminated in a scene where I got to puppet an NPC who got his eyes squished out. Thank you to everyone for showing up for that one."

Motherof grins.

Cleo declares, "Yay Harrow!"

Meiari says, "Thanks for making that particularly rememberable."

Soulless declares, "That was a... Harrowing, experience!"

Sororitas trails off, "That was a great scene to watch. Which reminds me..."

Dorothy declares, "It was quite fun. I saw the reminder go out shortly after the event but I'll resay it: you can recommend staff if they do something you like!"

Soulless exclaims, "Oh!"

Soulless states, "I forgot that that can happen."

Dorothy nods.

Dorothy states, "As for myself: I've mostly been playing help and interference. Answering questions, giving moral support. Helped a bit with the training of Harrow, I believe she wants to learn the magic of evictions next, so we can get more properties listed and add even more fun collectibles to the mystical world that is the auction house."

Motherof claims, "Ooo."

Cleo states, "I admit, I love stopping by every so often to see what's up for sale."

Calivion grunts in old man with long memory

Motherof says, "I love seeing stuff trickle in from OOC years ago"

Dorothy says, "The auction house is one of my favorite not-so-secret secrets."

Jiraiya would love more properties for sale.

Dorothy nods in agreement with Jiraiya.

Dorothy claims, "And finally: Lochan gives a tentative he might be back next week. Don't hold him too it - RL keeps throwing him curveballs, but he very much has been kept appraised of what's going on and is eager to return to the spahetti."

Sparkles claims, "I do have a funny eviction question."

Highroller says, "One day I will seek the previous owner of my PC's house. One day."

Dorothy muses to Sparkles, "Sure! Whats up?"

Sparkles claims, "So sometimes, a property is for sale at a specific location but in the meantime ... something else was built there."

Sparkles wonders, "What happens in those situations?"

MaskedHarlequin states, "You can run a plot for that, Highroller, if you want to know the history of the property. Now it might not always turn up a lot or staff might say there are players who know so go ask them but you can do it."

Dorothy claims, "Ah. I do love building conundrums. If you come across this let us know and we will attempt to sort that out. Different situations will call for different solutions, naturally, but I will work with Karrin and Temi (and affected players if it's a currently occupied location) to get to the most reasonable outcome"

HIEROPHANT asks, "You mean, sparkles, staff building a new building where the old one's room exit/entrance went?"

Sparkles claims, "Yes."

Highroller states, "Rich noble buying an estate to discover a squatter"

HIEROPHANT states, "More like, rich noble buys a house from the real estate office, goes to the address and there's a farm there instead."

Highroller says, "Hm, that's less fun."

Soulless says, "I don't know, that feels like a scam to me."

HIEROPHANT states, "I was frankly unaware that houses up for sale ever disconnected from the grid. There's plenty of phomes out there with no owner that you can burgle."

Motherof says, "Same."

Motherof gets a teeter-tottering toy featuring a knight and a moneylender.

Dorothy claims, "I have noticed in my albeit short time behind the screen - this isn't particularly common but it's also not so uncommon it doesn't happen. Sometimes the gird shifts for a reason (plot, character fallout, actual need for reorganization) and while I'm rebuilding I can see how it might have happened, but it does take someone going in to fully sort it all out. Like the graveyard.

I would say typo board report it to us."

HIEROPHANT nods.

Dorothy states, "Which I have a few rebuilds on my radar. Nothing that will impact you guys, but is all behind the scenes. This game is old, it's seen a lot of changes over the years."

HIEROPHANT states, "I do have a question relating to this one, Dorothy, if you happen to have any insights - there are some old megamansions from the Olden Times before assets when you could burn XP for silver arbitrarily. Have those been pruned from the grid or otherwise taken off the listings? They're so expensive no PC could realistically hope to afford the taxes - we're talking 400 or more in rent per week."

Sparkles states, "I think some of those you can now "rent" rather than buy outright."

Dorothy states, "Temi and Karrin at one point did comb through those right around the time I joined. Some do still exist because of historical reasons, but we do expect they will more likely be rented then actually purchased."

HIEROPHANT nods.

HIEROPHANT states, "At some point they might be best as standard-sector parts of the regular grid, outside of phome policy."

HIEROPHANT says, "Also if you're fixing old janky things please give the air grid a makeover if you get a chance. You know, for reasons. :)"

Soulless says, "Or just transformed into ancient ruins."

Soulless says, "Which in retrospect is what you meant."

Dorothy claims, "I agree, but that will also be a future discussion... and the air grid... yeah.

One day, one day. That is a goal of mine. A dream, if you will."

HIEROPHANT says, "They already serve that function, so it might be fun to retool their descriptions to represent something run-down and ill-maintained and remove the various mobs."

Soulless states, "Add new ones. Move the spooders to there."

Dorothy grins.

Soulless trails off, "Ancient treasures... "

Calivion claims, "Ruin exploration is a great use of time. lots of deep lore out there"

Cleo states, "I think there should definitely be more incentive for players to go explore ancient ruins. Turn old mansions into ruins and let them explore a random pool of leftover items."

Cleo states, "Make it part of the area's IC lore."

Sparkles claims, "I love ancient ruins."

Highroller plays raiders of the lost arc on recorder

Jiraiya says, "I think we need a larger grid for more things to explore. The density of notable 'things' is quite high already I think? MAybe not."

Cleo says, "Larger explore zones sound fun."

Soulless claims, "I'm not opposed to a larger grid, honestly. Get some horses, travel out to an ancient, spider infested castle with the crew. "

Dorothy claims, "There are a lot of cool places to explore already... but I'll forward that consideration, Jiraiya. I know some of our more storried players might enjoy that? I unfortunately don't know our limitations too much in that regard."

Harrow says, "My next project: Map out the entirety of the kingdom. Every duchy."

Harrow says, "(kidding)"

Cleo claims, "You and your army of cartographer skeletons. You don't have to pay them or feed them, so it'll be done in a flash."

Dorothy grins.

Capitalism queries, "Nah... Just map out Darav. Totally easier right?"

Soulless says, "The Blight. "

Dorothy claims, "I'm sure the Sultanate would have some questions about that one."

Jiraiya says, "I had an idea a long time ago of a "lesser" orkin wood west of the mountains as a place to explore." He shrugs.

Dorothy muses to Jiraiya, "That's something I could imagine happening as an ST, maybe not as a grid addition?"

Dorothy pontificates, "But I'm willing to forward all suggestions and see what the Elder Staff says!"

Jiraiya asks Dorothy, "Why not both? We have a mine from an old ST. I think this story has shown that a bit of PVE can be fun too... I'm willing to help with room descs if need be."

Dorothy claims to Jiraiya, "Well I can't make any promises, but I will say to make a request board on that note - especially if you have other locations from old STs that we might still have to look at."

Jiraiya nods and says, "There's a long thread on the forums if that is retrievable one day..."

Dorothy grins.

Dorothy says, "From what I understand the data itself isn't lost from the website, just the ability to access it for the moment, so once we have the archive back I should be able to look through the threads"

Dorothy queries, "So while you have us - any other comments, questions, or concerns for Harrow and I to take back with us?"

Highroller says, "Remember to recommend your friends, enemies, staffers, and gremlins :D "

MaskedHarlequin looks around the room

Soulless claims, "Noooope."

Mirielle thinks she's good...

Cleo states, "All good h ere."

Dorothy pontificates, "Alrighty! Thank you everyone, have fun causing mayhem on grid!"

Mirielle declares, "Thank you!"

Dorothy says, "I mean being faithful good Davites that would never do anything wrong :D"
