The List of Duties to the Faith is a convenient shorthand of obligations and responsibilities of all good Davites compiled from the Declarations, Canonical Laws, and other sayings of Dav. It was written to make the faith accessible to those with little education and experience.
The current version of the list is as follows:
- 1. Rejection of the evils of magery.
- 2. Rejection of all heresies and false religions.
- 3. Resistance to the temptations of sinful acts.
- 4. Wholehearted confession and penitence for sins that are committed.
- 5. The commission of good works and charity.
- 6. Adherence to the Declarations and the Canonical Laws.
- 7. Respect for the Order's sacred authority.
- 8. Respect for the Throne's secular authority.
- 9. Duty to one's family and community.
- 10. A daily regimen of holy prayer.
