Once a large dukedom under the sway of the Kingdom of [[Tubor]], [[Vandago]] was
the first of the mainland countries to succumb to the power of the [[the holy order of king dav|Davite]]
[[Consolidation Timeline|Consolidation]]. Counted among the world's foremost battle commanders, Duke
[[Jaren of Vandago]] saw the futility of resisting the fanatical hordes of
Davites. Instead, he met them at his border and offered parley with King
[[Dav]], who accepted the overture for peace.

The [[Vandagan]] nation was the only one to be absorbed during the Davite
Consolidation without the loss of a single life. Consequently, during the
long period of conflict of the Consolidation, Vandago grew and prospered.
It is now a city of a size to rival Lithmore itself.
