A year before the [[Consolidation Timeline|Consolidation]] began, a boy named Bacca was born in
[[Talfore]], and he lived a life as simple as the village where he grew up. It
became apparent that he had a knack for fixing things early on, and so he
chose to make his living that way, selling his services as a tinkerer as
far north as [[Beresfield]] County. Wherever he went, he was loved, for it
wasn't just pots and pans he mended. Many a heartbroken youth would come
tell their troubles to the man, who would listen while he worked on broken
utensils. He dispensed practical advice with a healthy dose of the Order's
teachings, and the poor children of the town always seemed to find some
trinket or toy in their pockets, ingeniously worked from scrap metal, lost
buttons and twine.

Because of his popularity, the church in Talfore invited him to join their
ranks; it was an invitation he accepted reluctantly. In his short time
wearing the cloth, this humble man influenced the whole of the Holy Order,
reinforcing Dav's Law of Giving and inspiring the custom of wearing little
to no jewelry, much to the dismay of Lithmore's more established priests of
the time. Though he voluntarily left the clergy to finish his life as it
began, he left a lasting impression and was sainted a few years after his
death in SC 153.
