Karrin states, "I have noticed it's been a touch quieter, but that is also normal for this time of year."

Karrin says, "It's alright. If anything comes up, just send me a tell. We'll move on with staff updates."

Karrin states, "I dealt with a policy issue this week. Admittedly, those are a touch draining on me in multiple ways, so the weeks I have to do that, I don't get a whole lot else done. I did also process the rat plot, though (the giftie is there) - everyone had such a hell of a time scheduling it, and then when it was finally happening, we had a big crash. So, I didn't figure there was a need to hold out longer. Thanks to Harrow for at least being willing to work with the players on that, even if it didn't quite go as planned."


Caelum asks, "Has there been an event like that where everything goes as planned?"

Karrin exclaims, "I think we have had a few!"

Harrow says, "The fact that the game crashed HARD when we finally got around to it was a real bummer "

Sparkles declares, "Sometimes!"

Karrin states, "It really was."

Caelum gives the most skeptical hmmmmmm a stick can muster.

Temi claims, "Have been a little less active this week, but I did get through a plot which I probably should have gotten to earlier"

Temi states, "And I heard there's been some progress on people discussing the royal bride plot. Will keep an eye out for more advances there"


Karrin claims, "And now I have Disney's Hercules songs going through my head. Thanks, guys."

Harrow states, "I did some building related things, house and shop purchases and such, but otherwise I haven't been up to a ton. As I say pretty much every week though, I'll be potentially participating in some fun stuff coming up, so keep an ear/eye out."

Caelum exclaims, "Ahem. I spent the week either working or looking after kids and not getting more than four hours of sleep a night, so I haven't been around much. But still alive!"

Sparkles queries, "Just a quick header question, I know this week was a bit busy or blep for folks, is the goal getting things in this week to kind of finish up?"


Karrin claims, "Hold a sec, checking something."

Kareem questions, "Can we have one last boss battle?"

Karrin claims to Sparkles, "While other players suggested a timeline, I didn't give a deadline. I know some who are working toward it, adn am waiting on them."

Rosethorn says, "Hi! And thank you. I was just mentioning that I always forget to ask. Awhile back there was mention of looking into updating/overhauling the asset system? I was wondering if there's been much movement/progress on that. "

Temi states, "We've got our plans for what we want for it, but we need Lochan to have time to dedicate to a bigger project"

Karrin nods.

Temi claims, "He's been more available than previously, but still just poking at quick fix things, not taking on anything big yet"

Karrin claims, "The concept that Temi came up with is really, really neat. More interactive."

Karrin says, "But also a big change, so it'll take some time."

Rosethorn declares, "Understandable! "

Temi states, "It does have different stages, so we might be able to get the early ones done before the big overhaul in the later steps"

Elora queries, "Can we know what the big changes are that are planned?"

Temi claims, "It should be in one of the previous meeting logs"

Karrin nods.

Karrin asks of Temi, "Could we come up with a single pager or post here for people to see?"

Elora claims, "I have very limited understanding of the asset system but from my experience I just barely managed to set up my starting asset and then never looked back on it."

Karrin states, "The meeting logs were down for a long time because website was down."

Temi states, "I'll see what I can put together for something like that - but the system will make it less required to interact with for those who just want their basic incomes, and more interactable for those who want to be more money-themed"

Karrin claims, "Yeah, definitely. It'll be literal cake for people who aren't interested in playing with it."

Bigman claims, "Looking forward to it "

Karrin says, "If I remember right, the 'starting' won't be based on metric, so it won't be a lottery roll for who gets better metrics and who gets shitty ones, but doesn't know because they're brand new. It'll just be a basic, set amount each week."

Temi nods at Karrin.

Karrin claims, "And that leaves the room for people who WANT to play with and invest in the system, and people who don't want to bother."

Karrin wonders, "Anyway! Yeah, we're excited for that, too. Any other topics before I boot you back?"

Meiari states, "I just wanna say I'm excited for asset changes"

cat queries, "What will happen with current assets and resources? Replaced?"

Temi states, "Some will transition over, and some will be refunded to people"

Temi says, "And anyone that wants to turn theirs in will be able to get a refund as well"

Karrin claims, "I don't think we've gotten quite that far. But we won't... yes, that. If you've invested in assets and resources, we won't leave you hanging and just losing that."

Karrin states, "We know how expensive they are."

Temi says, "The ones that won't be sticking around will be more of the ones that represent things you don't own - like an allowance from your aunt, etc."

Temi claims, "Whereas the ones that remain will represent actual physical assets, like a shop or a farm or a vineyard, etc."

Rosethorn claims, "Definitely looking forward to seeing the new changes when they come. Definitely sounds like it'll be interesting to interact with. "

Temi finishes abruptly, "Businesses and such too - the ownership is more the part that matters than a physical place"

Karrin nods in agreement with Temi.

Karrin queries, "Temi worked really hard on this. With... Dorothy's help, I think?"

Karrin claims, "I'd have to go back and look. I know it was something that was knocking around in Temi's brain for a long time. I look forward to seeing it implemented, too."
