InvestSouthside stops using a padded mace with a boxy head shaped as a couriers package.
Harrow is carried in on a litter by a group of resplendent skeletons. [OOC]
Karrin states, "Ok! Here we go."
Karrin states, "OOC Chat Rules:
- Approach each topic with the mindset that each person is doing the best they can with the knowledge they have, staff and player alike.
- Please avoid topics around current events. Nothing should be revealed in an OOC meeting that others would prefer to find out in game ICly.
- This is not the correct forum for criticism of a specific player or a topic centered around one player. If there are concerns about a specific player, please address that with staff privately.
- This is not the correct forum for bringing up policy violations. If there are instances of perceived policy violations, please address that with staff privately."
Temi gives a padded mace with a boxy head shaped as a couriers package to Capitalism.
InvestSouthside wields a double-edged damascus steel anelace with a tapering blade.
Karrin questions, "So, how was RP this week, everyone?"
InvestSouthside tucks his dagger in his belt.
Libiwe states, "Fine."
Libiwe says, "And fun."
Sororitas states, "I was too sick to play this week so... hopefully next week."
Temi comforts Soulless.
Temi comforts Sororitas.
Rowena says, "As a new player, great - I really appreciate everyone who has been inclusive with me."
Soulless claims, "It was okay. Didn't do a ton."
InvestSouthside says, "Chaos but fun chaos."
Caelum is a stick and can't hug, but offers moral support anyway.
Bigman states, "Got some progress, and was happy for it, did a lotta crafting
"
Karrin says, "Any topics for this week? I have one, as a note, so I'll go last for staff updates and just do it then."
Libiwe claims, "I have a tiny topic."
woodsman says, "Starting up the new PC, exploring combat, and the Great outdoors
"
Karrin claims, "That can be dangerous, at this moment in time."
Sparkles claims, "I do have one question but it shouldn't be a long one."
Soulless says, "No topics for me."
Bridge exclaims, "RP was good!"
Bridge claims, "Also no topics from meeeee."
Karrin nods at Sparkles.
Bigman claims, "Gift wars was fun, and engaging, and people made neat gifts
"
Karrin says, "Ok, so looks like Sparkles and I. If anyone comes up with anything, send me a tell."
Bridge states, "I just wanna say one thing"
Bridge says, "I so fucking hate the insects."
Soulless says, "Libi too."
Bridge claims, "Grah"
Karrin claims to Bigman, "Looks like one host is here, the other isn't. Feel free to do some recommends for those who attended, though, and hosted."
Libiwe claims, "Yes, I have a tiny topic too."
Karrin states to Libiwe, "Ok, I'll let you know when it's your time."
Karrin says, "Alright, staff updates. I'll let Temi go first."
Temi claims, "Not a whole lot from me this week. Some small requests, and I think I'm up to date now on the royal marriage plots, so can keep an eye out for more of those as people are ready to progress. There's some info at there now at least"
Musketeer asks, "Very quick question. Does staff roll for initiative to see who goes first?"
Temi states, "If so, it's all in Karrin's head"
Karrin claims to Musketeer, "It depends on my whim."
Capitalism says, "Gotta keep them on their toes."
Musketeer claims, "One day Caelum will go first."
Karrin has lost link.
Karrin has reconnected.
woodsman Softly plays rains of castemere
Karrin says, "Ok, apparently my whim breaksme."
Caelum states, "One day she'll make me--"
woodsman says, "Ahem, yes, marriage."
Karrin states to Caelum, "Your turn."
Caelum pffts at musketeer.
Caelum claims, "Not a lot from me either, I've been busy IRL and spending my downtime on things that don't require a lot of thinking."
Karrin nods.
Karrin states, "I feel that."
Karrin queries to Harrow, "You?"
Meiari claims, "Thinking is overrated"
Caelum states, "You might have seen me on grid occasionally, I've been spending time poring over the setting lore."
Harrow claims, "So this week I did a bit of building and helping out attempting to fix some things. I had to fix the bugs a couple times too due to crashes messing them up. Otherwise I haven't been up to all that much, but I'll potentially be involved in some fun things coming up."
Karrin claims to Caelum, "But you were totally unnoticeable as a stick."
Bigman claims, "Dun dun DUN"
Caelum states, "Apparently a stick is worse at sneaking than you'd think"
Meiari states, "Everyone is constantly on the lookout for a good stick"
Temi states, "I mean, a stick in the middle of the palace sticks out"
Caelum rolls in stick-y indignation.
Musketeer states, "I guess you need to stick to your work."
Soulless says, "Ooof."
Caelum states, "Either way I'm sticking around, slump and all."
Bigman claims, "Badum pss"
Caelum makes a note to collect more stick-related puns
Karrin questions, "Ok, me. I have had a LOT going on this week, so haven't been around as often as I'd like. And, I'd like to ask you all overall about the bug plot. I feel like it's fizzled, and everyone has either lost interest or is frustrated. I gave the *big hints* that lead to everyone knowing it's a single person causing all the trouble, but we don't really have any plots about that now. So. Would you like me to behind the scenes wrap it up, have an NPC catch and burn the guy, and get rid of the nests, so the grid can go back to normal?"
Bridge states, "Honestly, all I know about the header plot is that Southside is evil and hates me now."
Soulless says, "Well on my end, I'm not really in the loop. It's felt like only one, maybe two guilds were involved in dealing with it. And I haven't really felt like I could be involved in the first place."
Karrin claims to Bridge, "Board ic, note 3"
Soulless wonders, "So, I guess it's up to those guilds involved to decide?"
Sparkles says, "I think one big difficulty has been scheduling."
Karrin nods in agreement with Sparkles.
Libiwe claims, "I mean, if nobody in the inquisition had the wish to plot about it, it feels a bit dead. But I could start a plot if it's a way to end it properly :/"
Karrin says to Soulless, "So, we're going to stop discrediting ourselves and our opinions."
Soulless states, "I don't know what you mean by that."
Temi states, "If you're interested in being involved, you can be involved"
Temi says, "If no one is interested in being involved, we can wrap things up"
Rowena states, "As a total outsider who was introduced to the plot via an ass-beating from an ant, it's been a decent RP hook - I've met characters via the injuries, it gives me something to speculate about with other people. "
Karrin states, "It's been stale for a while, that's why I gave the big hint. The intention was to get people playing together, which worked at first. Get people asking for escorts, traveling together, etc. But, yeah, what Temi said. If it's old and we're done, then we're done. I can get rid of it."
Bridge states, "Yeah, ant assbeating did help with hooks into RP, but if it hasn't moved a while, idk. I think I can weather it a few more weeks so people who are interested but couldn't schedule stuff can wrap it up, though."
Bigman claims, "I'm ambivalent on it, the critters are avoidable enough (or escortable enough) to not be a detriment to the routine of my PC too much, but that's very personal. I think I agree it's largely up to those actively chasing the enemy to see if they want to do a final hurrah or no."
Karrin claims, "I have exactly one plot, and no one else has participated in it despite it being shared. And it's one that I said I wouldn't move forward without participation. "
Karrin says, "I want to make it clear, no hard feelings on this. Sometimes things just don't strike, I'm putting out feelers."
Soulless says, "I guess what I'm saying is I don't know how to be involved unless I'm invited to be. And I haven't been, which is likely an IC choice, etc."
Soulless states, "But, yeah otherwise I'm indifferent."
Karrin has transferred . [OOC]
Temi gives a padded mace with a boxy head shaped as a couriers package to .
Libiwe claims, "I can of feel like bigman. Maybe give one more week to see if people from guilds concerned wish to do something, and close it if they don't."
arrives late, looking all flustered!
Capitalism queries, "Their OOC title is nothing...?"
Elora COUGHS, and arrives late PROPERLy this TIME.
Meiari claims, "So ghosts do exist"
Caelum offers stickish consolation anyway.
Soulless pontificates, "Dun dun duuuuunnnn!"
Bridge states, "Ooough I am the ghost of yule past"
Karrin states, "Well, to be fair, I'm not asking you how I should manage it. I'm gauging interest in finishing it up or having NPCs finish it up. I promise you that I can manage implementing whatever is decided upon."
Elora states, "No!!! Ghosts aren't real, the Order makes sure they aren't."
Bridge queries, "I do think PCs should finish it up! I think?"
Bridge says, "Like just wrap it up NPC like when nobody does a plot 'bout until next meeting, I'd say is fair."
Meiari queries, "I imagine it's mostly been put on hold because the rat-catching plot kept having to be re-scheduled more than anything, right? So probably just get the motivation to get back into the hunt i guess?"
Karrin claims, "Admittedly, that took way too long. And then when it happened, it crashed. We need to just give that a win and move it on. AND, it shows the dangers of depending on scheduled plans."
Sororitas states, "I have been rather sick this last week or so... so killed my forward momentum but... eh not sure how to word my thoughts but I will say I've been trying to move forward but sort of stalled and need to get back into things."
Karrin says, "Of many people."
Harrow claims, "Yeah I apologise how the rat catching plot got caught up in rescheduling, that was mostly my fault. This is my first time being a staffer, obviously, I'm learning. And yes, when we finally had it happen, the game crashed and didn't restart for a while."
HIEROPHANT claims, "I have a plot not quite yet ready to go, that should be done this week, that has odds of moving forward finishing it up."
Karrin says, "Ok, and I've had some tells from people, too. I'll not wrap it up for now. I just didn't want to drag it out if people weren't interested in interacting with it anymore."
Elora exclaims, "No plots on my side, unless you count public events as plots..!"
HIEROPHANT trails off, "Just a bit more crafting and tooling and then the real challenge... scheduling"
Caelum says to Harrow, "Your plot was so great the game can't handle it"
Temi grins.
Karrin states to Sparkles, "Alrighty, your turn."
Sparkles says, "So, I know this is not a small task, so I apologize for the ask."
Bridge says, "Wuh oh"
Bigman says, "Ru--- What Bridge said."
Soulless is innocent.
Sparkles says, "However, now that the website and the forum are back up, a small request to maybe catch up on the IC Events posts on the forums? As that's a big primary way for folks making new characters to kind of have an idea of what's happened recently."
Karrin says, "Oh, yeah. I can nudge somebody to do that, no biggie."
Karrin questions to Libiwe, "You had something?"
Libiwe muses, "Apparently the OOC chat of last week has not been posted on the forum... and I missed it. Could someone do something about it?"
Karrin claims, "I don't remember who the scribe was."
Bridge says, "Wait who is scribe for this one"
Bigman queries, "Soulless is, right? "
Karrin says, "Yes."
Bridge states, "Ok ok. Panicked for a moment, lmao."
Soulless wonders, "Was it me?"
Soulless claims, "Derp. I'll do that after this OOC meeting."
Soulless states, "My mistake. I knew I missed one."
Soulless's opportunity to accept the Personal Event has expired.
Temi claims, "If you do have it, that would be great. Otherwise we can see if we can figure out who"
Libiwe exclaims, "That would be great indeed, thank you !"
Soulless says, "It was indeed me. I have it."
Libiwe says, "Thanks again
"
Caelum claims, "Whew"
Musketeer has been transferred out by Karrin. [OOC]
Karrin wonders, "Ok, anything else before I send you all back to grid?"
Elora exclaims, "Remember to say your prayers! Or I'll find you and we'll sing them together!"
Elora makes the sign of the chalice.
Libiwe forgets her prayer instantly.
Bridge claims, "If anyone wonders, I am Karrin's secret love child."
Bridge claims, "Ok, bye."
Karrin claims, "Got you fooled, I lack love. Ok, back to grid."
