I have very mixed feelings about these changes, but in general I'm pretty bummed about how little RPXP I'm getting at the moment, and apologise if what I say next comes across as overly aggressive; it isn't meant to, I'm just trying to articulate my thoughts as clearly as possible.
This feels like a bit of a betrayal of the TI pbase to me, honestly. While I think that it should take a while to develop a 'mature' character, I don't think it should be crammed down our throats by restricting the amount of RPXP we earn, especially when we put a lot of time into scenes and work hard at developing good stories. In my opinion, that effort should be rewarded in a substantial way, and at present, we're getting a pittance. I am definitely, definitely 'for' the amount getting raised.
On a more immediate note, I think this has been really affecting the morale of the pbase, and I've heard of several people RPing less or thinking about quitting altogether. As we are, we don't have the pbase that we can afford to lose the contribution of solid veteran players; also, I don't see how we're going to recruit the people necessary for the MUD to survive if we continue implementing decisions that are not only detrimental to the pbase.
