Meiari holds a simple, cow-faced doll dressed in a farm girl-style dress in her hand.
Meiari takes up her cow-faced doll's arm between her fingers, giving it a small shake that causes
the doll to wave its little wooden fish in the air.
InvestSouthside states, "Yeah it was the last round and it went on forever"
Temi claims, "The fish is there too."

Sunday and the early week a bit, so.. I'm sorry about the delay on getting plots handled again."
InvestSouthside declares, "Oh no I hope you and yours are okay!"
Temi claims, "Yepyep, everybody's physically fine, though the pupper's pretty sure any wall could
explode into airbag's without warning at any moment"
Temi says, "So, giving her a little bit to relax and feel herself again."
Meiari trails off, "Dealing with a pupper and thunderstorms recently - that's a valid fear tbh..."
Valora trails off, "Geezus... that's a pretty shitty start to the week. I hope you're doing alright.
poor pupper though..."
Meiari says, "Glad everyone was okay though <3"
Temi states, "I have been working on going through and getting your plots handled though. I'm going
to do my best to get all caught up on everything submitted by Sunday before end of day tomorrow -
preferrably before tomorrow, and I think we've got a pretty good chance on that. Only a few left
now. Though I would have preferred to give you the whole weekend to RP about it."
Temi pontificates, "But that does mean no new update this week - I'll have another one for you next
week though!"
Valora states, "I actually have a question about Plots when we get to Player topics if that's ok."
Temi states, "Sure thing"
Temi declares, "Alrighty! Player heartbeat then!"
Temi wonders, "How was RP this week?"
Rosethorn exclaims, "It's been fun! Several good scenes"
Valora says, "RP was great. Folks have been really eager to RP and I'm having... maybe not a ball
but a lot of great scenes."
Brenier says, "RP has been fun. Work has made it difficult this week but that's always a thing
sometimes. "
Temi grins.
Temi claims, "Those are good things to hear for the most part"
InvestSouthside says, "I have had a pretty good week of rp"
Temi says, "Except that work thing."
Eeel claims, "I've been a little less active than I'd like, with RL tying me up a bit, but the
scenes I have had were great"
Temi states, "But work will be work, what can ya do"
Rambling claims, "I haven't been active this last couple of weeks, settling into a new normal took
it out of me for a bit."
Brenier says, "Work sucks. Enough said."
Temi nods in agreement with Brenier.
Valora lifts a simple, cow-faced doll dressed in a farm girl-style dress to her nose and sniffs at
it.
Meiari says, "I have had a few very important scenes about the plot and craziness so that was fun
:3"
Temi wonders, "Anything bothering anyone that staff ought to know about?"
Temi declares, "That silence sounds like a no!"
Temi questions, "Okay then! Valora, you had something you wanted to go into about plots?"
Valora claims, "Simple request. When it comes to adding IP or calling on a metric is there an
official guide line to what that gets you or way to understand how that adds to plots? Lets say for
instants I want to ask a bunch if VNPCs to tithe and support he church in an effort and we have
legendary Piety, is there a way for us as GLs to understand what that metric means for us? Same with
Sanctum and Ipiety or Troubadours and Morale."
Temi has transferred Capitalism. [OOC]
Temi gives a simple, cow-faced doll dressed in a farm girl-style dress to Capitalism.
Capitalism cheers for the toy.
Temi finishes abruptly, "Hrm, not really a specific guide on it, no. I generally haven't been
relying on the metrics too much - I could start doing so, but that would probably mean both
positives and negatives"
Temi states, "For IP, I've generally been considering everything in regards to how it translates to
silver, so IP would have a similar amount of impact to how much silver you could buy that IP for,
but more specific to influencing things"
Valora questions, "I guess to be fully honest as a GL who's RP and guild likely relies on them
pulling on piety if I say, "Valore leans on the faith of the flock and her role as Earl Marshall"
will that overcomer her mediocre charisma if Piety is legendary?"
Tatty claims, "Sorry...chaos."
Valora declares, "IP being a direct silver transfer makes sense and if staff wants to do it that way
then I'm ok just want an official answer. If it's equal to silver value of relevant goodsand
reliably useful in plots then I'll be happy!"
Sparkles states, "Maybe a metric being over X amount could sub for a flubbed Luck roll? Might
encourage IP votes etc during big goings on."
A roly-poly white-bellied puppy flops over onto its back and promptly rolls over half way before it
stops, feet wiggling in the air before it falls back over.
Temi trails off, "I will definitely consider the fact that the default state of the world is pretty
pious. So a complete failure of charisma isn't going to result in people rising up against the
Order, it's going to result in them going 'engh, I dunno about this charalin, we trust the Order,
but maybe we could get our regular village priest...'"
Valora says, "Yeah Sparkles raises a point. The value of Ip is hard to gauge. Especially when you
guild is over IP levels and has to decide is it worth it to invest in other players outside the
guild or put it to plots. "
Temi says, "But if you want to specifically appeal to a particularly high or low metric, please do
feel free to call that out and I'm happy to include that"
Valora trails off, "I more specifically want to say... "
Tatty asks, "Uhm, I have to go and this is way over my head. Can I get transported back?"
Temi states, "Generally, always feel free to suggest specific things you have in mind. I won't
always think of things, so if you remind me, that can overcome some of that."
Temi states, "Sure thing"
Temi waves to Tatty.
Tatty has been transferred out by Temi. [OOC]
Valora queries, "If we have legendary in our guild metric will that affect our roles when we ask for
things in plots? As a Order GL my IC concern is piety aiding my plots but the Physicians and relying
on High health or brotherhood on low lawfulness... do those affect plot roles?"
Valora says, "Rolls nor roles."
Temi says, "Usually not, because low piety isn't hurting you."
Valora exclaims, "Alright good to know!"
HIEROPHANT says, "Metrics provide income and IP to use as resources -in- those plots, so they're
still helpful"
Temi nods in agreement.
HIEROPHANT says, "The Order in particular can amass a truly monstrous amount of IP when things are
positive."
Temi says, "And if it's directly relevant, feel free to remind me, but usually I don't think of it"
Temi queries, "Alright. Anything else on that?"
Valora claims, "Mk Just I know in investigations and plots the Order is normally struggling cause
knights are physical stat centric and plots are mental stat centric so I wasn't sure if legendary or
superb piety helped us."
Valora claims, "Or the equivalent in other guilds. such as lawfulness in the Reeves and ect."
Temi nods.
Temi finishes abruptly, "Asking stuff that's directly in your wheelhouse will definitely help - I'm
not likely to hold back on stuff that's clearly stuff any normal NPC would answer you unless your
roles say you horribly offended someone, even if you didn't get a great success"
HIEROPHANT states, "I have been pondering the plot lately and how the plot response tend to go, and
I have perhaps one constructive comment"
Temi claims, "But like I said, feel free to mention it if you're appealing to it more than normal."
Temi nods at HIEROPHANT.
Temi queries, "Sure?"
HIEROPHANT claims, "It can be difficult, for me at least - I can't speak for others, obviously -
difficult to determine from a plot response alone, if the reason I have not achieved the desired
outcome is from a bad dice roll, or from bad planning."
HIEROPHANT claims, "No die roll will let you achieve something essentially impossible, and that's
what an improperly thought-out plan is; but it can be hard to tell if a plan you thought was good,
wasn't, from a negative result alone - and the dice muddy the waters on that front."
Valora muses, "Ok... I mean no offense so sorry if this is an ass hole question or seems out of
line. As a Sanctum member I imagine if your guild supports you most VNPC mages will do as you ask at
low piety due to the fact no one will protect you. Same with low lawfulness and the Brotherhood or
high piety and the Order. If we reach Legendary Piety though... and for instance economics is low
shouldn't the order over rule the Merchants or virtues of the average merchant VNPC and vice versa
if the economics is higher than piety?"
HIEROPHANT says, "I'll be frank I have no idea what you meant by that."
Temi says, "Some of that is intended. But the dice rolls should help to give some perspective, if
not all of it"
Valora questions, "Tp Heiro, If your guild metric is high can you make up for poor character stats
or opposing factors such as other guilds opposing you?"
Temi muses, "I'm not entirely sure I follow either? Though yes, metrics can overcome some of the
other natural relationships to some extent"
HIEROPHANT says, "It can be hard to parse at times if I should consider trying something again, or
if I should try something else, is what I'm getting at. Some plots have made the division clear;
some haven't. Making that division clearer would help me and, presumably, others. That's all from me
on that."
Valora states, "Ok... lets get fully blunt them."
Temi claims, "I can keep that in mind, though yeah, keeping that as an open question for you to
consider is partially intended"
Temi nods at HIEROPHANT.
Valora states, "Most plots are Charisma based. Most Knights and Inquisitors such at charisma cause
we would get killed on grid for having low physical stats"
HIEROPHANT thumbs-up.
Valora says, "Can we make up for that by keeping piety high"
Temi says, "If I definitely don't want you to try it again, I'll definitely try to let you know"
Temi says, "Never completely, but it could help, sure."
Eeel states, "Honestly, the one good use of charisma is in plots, most of the time"
Valora says, "Ok"
Eeel states, "Its a reason to actually bump the stat"
Eeel says, "So I enjoy that charisma is used in plots a lot, personally"
Valora claims, "I will leave that alone as I have no constructive response."
Eeel claims, "The physical stats have tons of coded benefits, if you want to play a character that
has low physical stats but high charisma, its nice that charisma has an actual use"
Eeel claims, "Still, it makes sense for the metrics to effect plots too"
Temi muses, "Alright. We are about out of time. Did anyone have anything else on that, or anything
else that they wanted to go over today?"
Valora says, "No guess I'm good."
Temi claims, "Alrighty. I think we'll go ahead and wrap things up then"
Meiari dances dramatically.
Temi declares, "You all have fun! Stay out of trouble that's too boring for the mess it causes"
Temi waves.

if the economics is higher than piety?"
HIEROPHANT says, "It can be hard to parse at times if I should consider trying something again, or
if I should try something else, is what I'm getting at. Some plots have made the division clear;
some haven't.
Temi waves.
