Log session starting at 18:06:28 on Saturday, 7 January 2023.
Ghed rolled 1d2 for a pool of: 2. [Ed345]

Ghed states to Ikeala, "You're the scribe"

Edison states, "Okay, started logging, I'm going the resist the urge to spam 'score'"

Jackassaurus questions, "Did he just roll d scribe you?"

Ghed queries to Ikeala, "You want to let Eddie go?"

Edison claims, "Already loging, I think :O"

Ghed claims to Edison, "Okay"

Edison says, "It says that there is"

Ghed has awarded you 2 QPs: scribe

Deedee says, "As a reminder, you may want to scrub the roll nospoof thing from your log, "

Ghed states, "Okay, time to start this week's Staff Update."

Ikeala nods.

Ghed has transferred Rafferty. [OOC]

Temi gives a wooden, magebane klacker painted up as the king and queen to Rafferty.

Rafferty waves.

Ghed says, "I did mostly player requests, a lot of recommends, and unfortunately a heavy dose of
Policy that I'm still processing and will have to do after this chat. Guys, please remember to 1)
cnote discoveries and your chain of deduction clearly, 2) don't assume the worst from fellow
players, 3) don't ooc gossip to each other, it does a lot of damage and 9/10 times you're totally,
totally wrong"

Ghed claims, "I am going to have to start penalizing players today, something I strongly dislike.
I'd rather be crafting funky npc scripts or ambiance or anything else."

Deedee nods.

Dragor nods.

LunarEclipse nods.

Rafferty claims, "Bummer. but undertandable if needed."

Ghed deep sighs.

Ghed says, "Leta's feeling unwell today, but she has assisted Eurus a lot with some magical
shenanigans. And we're working out, belatedly, the Lothos Revolt plot rewards."

Cal states, "I am sorry I spilled the milk over your keyboard Ghed."

Dragor states, "I'm sorry to hear that, Ghed. I hope I didn't mess up. I know I'm pretty new. :/"

Ghed claims to Dragor, "Don't worry =)"

Ghed says to Temi, "You're up."

Temi says, "I have been busily getting things going for the plot, for the most part. Hopefully
people are enjoying the start of that"

Jackassaurus states, "Yasss"

Rafferty states, "Love it."

Deedee declares to Temi, "Been interesting!"

Edison claims, "It's dramatic :O"

Temi says, "If you haven't noticed it, there's posts on the IC Events board, and I added an OOC
addendum with some instructions"

Dragor claims, "I'm only tangentially related to it, but it cropped up and pushed RP, so it's good."

Edison states, "I'm writing a book about it already X)"

Ghed states, "Yes! The npcs are scripted and waiting for your goodies."

Temi says, "Other than that, trying to help with requests and recommends and getting some typos
fixed up.

Temi nods at Ghed.

Ghed nods.

Nameless claims, "Is there a uhhh. Specific goodie that they want? I remember for the Lothos plot
there were plot specific craftables."

Dragor says, "What NPCs exist there again? I know the Vavard one."

Ghed says, "Thanks a lot for the help T"

Temi states, "Nothing specific, just 'useful' things for the war effort."

Dragor trails off, "I guess food, clothes, weapons, armor..."

Temi claims, "There's the Vavardi one for anti-Charali actions and the King's for anti-Daravi
actions."

Deedee says, "There's a lot"

Temi nods at Dragor.

Nameless says, "Okay"

Ghed asks, "And they are 2 rooms apart, right?"

Temi nods at Ghed.

Deedee nods at Ghed.

Ghed states, "Excellent"

Rafferty states, "On thechurch steps now and town hall reception"

Ghed states, "Meanwhile Eurus has gone unhinged, totally unhinged, and he attacked our precious
Bugs"

Ghed claims, "He killed and wiped out a lot of them, they're going to become an endangered species
at this rate"

Deedee says, "Spider in disguise"

Ghed sheds a tear, but just one

Temi says, "Feel free to repopulate reports of them as you notice them."

Temi grins.

Deedee says, "Yeah, noticed a new one yesterday."

Ghed states, "Doing work for mother nature"

Ghed wonders, "Alright people, let's move on to Player Heartbeat: how has the week been for y'all?"

Edison claims, "Up and down, can't believe it's already over :O"

Seraphite declares, "It's been a little rough getting back into the groove with how tired I've been,
but it's been a blast!"

Rafferty claims, "A good time, learning crafting and it is fun"

Deedee says, "Been good! Back at work now though, so will have a bit less time for RP."

Seraphite claims, "Big shoutout to the new nobles, by the way - they've been really engaging to hang
out with and even just see talking."

Kalana says, "I've been having a good week, actually finding more time for TI at this point, which
is great, and getting involved in things again"

Ghed queries, "They really have haven't they?"

Dragor claims, "Aside a tiny run-in that left a tiny bit of a bad taste in my mouth, I had a blast."

Dragor says, "My char is being very silly and I get to do dumb poems, it's all I want in life,
really."

Fala is having fun!

Errisar states, "Other than a frustrating embellishment issue that Temi's helping with, it's been
slow but all right. I realized I spend way more time crafting than I probably need to on one of my
chars, and not having to do extendeds on every little thing has been liberating."

Deedee grins.

Temi claims, "I think that one should be fixed now, but you might need to request if the existing
ones aren't fixed"

Ikeala says, "A lot of people honestly don't unless it's something super, super special."

Errisar nods.

Ghed says, "Yeah, I see it more for gifts or the merchant masterworks than anything else"

Deedee states, "They're always Nice To Have, but I wouldn't expect them"

Ghed wonders, "Alright, is there anything bothering anyone about TI that can be shared here and
now?"

Errisar claims, "Well, it's been liberating. Not to cause a tangent. :)"

Dragor states, "This game is really fun! I just struggle sometimes with inputs, lol."

Dragor says, "This is my first MUD, wew."

Ghed says to Dragor, "It's all good"

Ghed states to Dragor, "Oh, goodness, what an honor =))"

Rafferty declaims, "Yay! welcome to this one!!"

Deedee states, "Probably your last too, the other ones are ruined for you now. ;)"

Ghed grins at Deedee.

Jackassaurus says, "They always come back."

Ghed peers left and right, "So no complaints to air briefly?"

Dragor states, "Don't got any."

Deedee claims, "I could bring up a small one"

Deedee claims, "Probably doesn't need a topic"

Temi claims, "If it's bothering you, feel free to let us know, yeah"

Seraphite says, "I have a small one that's more of a question, but I can wait until after Deedee."

Ghed says to Deedee, "Tell us"

Deedee questions, "On hit strength, which sounds like it's a stronger hit, 'lightly' or
'glancingly'?"

Rafferty says, "Glanc"

Nameless says, "Glancingly"

Edison claims, "I'm uncertain :O"

Bimbly says, "See, I'd have said lightly."

Nephrat states, "Lightly"

Temi states, "I don't know that I have a strong feeling between the two myself."

Nephrat claims, "Glancingly, to me, is barely got a hit in"

Seraphite says, "Yeah, it's lightly to me too."

Dragor questions, "I would say Lightly?

Dragor claims, "Glancingly is like - a glance."

Errisar nods.

Nephrat says, "Like what the word means, maybe not even a full hit."

Deedee nods.

Fala has the tiniest complaint ever.

Bimbly claims, "Unfortunately, the actual answer appears to be that glancingly is the stronger hit."

Nephrat nods.

Deedee claims, "Presently, glancingly is stronger than lightly- but I think they should be swapped."

Errisar nods.

Dragor says, "Oh, yeah. That makes sense. I agree with that."

Temi asks, "Would changing things confuse people that are used to it?"

Deedee states, "Not if it's announced, I don't think."

Ghed states, "IDK, but this is not a complaint about TI, sounds more like a topic =)"

Nameless states, "It would to me *shrug*"
Ghed queries to Seraphite, "How about you? What did you wish to say?"

Ghed tells you, "You're first topic so please pre-write"

Seraphite queries, "This is more of a question, but is there a way to view keywords inside of
containers?"

Ghed states, "Nope"

Temi claims, "But you can get all"

Deedee claims, "Oh yeah, that'd be nice sometimes. get all (item) then inv items works though"

Ghed claims, "But indirectly you can use rummage and 'fish' for keywords too"

Ikeala wonders, "Currently no, maybe a suggestion for the forums?"

Bimbly muses, "Doesn't inventory do that?"

Ghed states, "Not for things inside containers"

Ikeala states, "Only if it's in your inventory not in something on the ground."

Ghed declaims to Seraphite, "Sorry to disappoint!"

Seraphite says, "Okay, just making sure! I was having way too hard of a time getting a particular
Magebane costume I wanted out of a crate yesterday because I couldn't tell what was a keyword and
what wasn't."

[History] :Ghed tells you, "You're first topic so please pre-write"(Sat Jan 7 18:23:41 2023)

Ghed queries to Fala, "What's up with you?"

Seraphite states, "That may, however, also be buzzy brain."

Bimbly claims, "For example, I can inventory items crate to review every item in my crate, and it
displays - ahhh, okay, you have to pick up the container."

Temi says, "Actually"

Temi claims, "Inv <object> items"

Ghed peers at Temi

Deedee questions, "Oh, when was that added?"

Temi claims, "Not sure, but it's in the helpfile."

Ghed claims, "I am the worst staffer ever"

Ghed laughs.

Deedee states, "Yeah, it works."

Bimbly claims, "If it's safe to drop items in here, I can drop my crate and try it. I know it works
in my inventory, but not on the floor."

Ghed says to Seraphite, "Please accept my apologies"

Ghed declaims to Bimbly, "Let's just carry on for now!"

Bimbly pontificates, "Okay!"

Ghed exclaims to Fala, "Your point!"

Fala exclaims, "I can't read the first character or the last character of speaking text without
highlighting it, due to the color. That is my complaint!"

Ghed claims, "Oh dear that's the language thing"

Ghed claims, "Not much we can do about it I think"

Ghed peers at Temi

Temi questions, "Which language?"

Temi questions, "Or all languages?"

Ghed claims, "Probs lithmorran, I remember it being an issue in some phone clients"

Deedee states, "You could consider changing the window background color in your client"

Ghed states, "Like MudRammer, that hellspawn"

Temi nods at Deedee.

Fala exclaims, "I would just like to be able to read it without having to toggle this and that!"

Jackassaurus says, "My mudrammer works great for my phone"

Ghed says, "I'll pitch it to Eurus, Fala, but I'm unsure we can assist at the moment"

Ghed says to Jackassaurus, "Demoted"

Fala nods.

Rafferty queries, "Turn color off?"

Temi claims, "Code colors should be able to use a change to the color it uses and change it just for
you"

Jackassaurus questions, "IS there a better one for iphone? lol"

Fala exclaims, "Color off would be sad!"

Deedee states, "Yeah, other than toggling color off I don"

Ghed claims, "I have a little complaint to air myself. By myself."

Deedee claims, "'t think that's a mud issue, justa client one"

Temi states, "Unlike xterm which are set on rgb values, instead of names"

Errisar turns his attention to Ghed.

Rafferty listens up

Ghed says, "I'd like to, myself, ask you all to please take a big step back and disengage from
public channels if something goes wrong. TALK TO STAFF. We're here to help. We want to help. We can
help. It's okay to be mad. It's okay, just talk to us instead. That's all."

Deedee nods at Ghed.

Ghed nods.

Ghed claims, "Alright, time to move on to Player Topics."

Ghed states to Edison, "You're first"

Edison states, "The only thing I'd like to bring up is that I think there should be a way to look at
people's distinguished titles without having to un-remember them. If So-and-so is suddenly 'The
Scourge of The Daravi Front' or w/e I'd like to know >.>"

Deedee claims, "I think it shows on 'look'"

Ghed claims, "Hmmmmmmmm"

Ghed says, "Could be added to stuff like remember ghed when you recall information"

Ghed claims, "But not sure how to do it elegantly"

Temi claims, "If it doesn't show on look, it probably should. Though remember would make some sense
too"

Rafferty nods.

Seraphite states, "I feel like it'd make sense on look."

Edison says, "Maybe something like 'look lore' or something like that"

Seraphite states, "Nah, look lore is an entirely separate command for room lore strings."

Edison muses, "Look title?"

Bimbly queries, "Look <name> lore or look <name> prestige, that sort of thing?"

Deedee states, "Hmmm... Wonder what would happen if someone was named Lore."

Tamira tells you, "Me, so sad there's only a Fame rating but not an Infamy rating."

Seraphite claims, "Clearly you have to remember them as Not That."

Ghed says, "Lol"

Gnomely states, "It could be put into look person. "He is also known as The Scourge of the Daravi
Front""

Jackassaurus claims, "Better.. More

Temi claims, "Or on help character, if it's supposed to be that known."

Temi grins.

Jackassaurus states, "Look more lore"

Ghed states, "I considered something like that by naming an alt Mail, when I was a player"

Ghed states, "Temi got mad at me"

You tell Tamira, "You're famous to me, that's what matters :)"

Deedee grins.

Rafferty states, "Lol"

Tamira tells you, "Thanks bb."

Temi claims, "Temi doesn't often need to thump Ghed, but the thought of doing so certainly comes
up."

Temi grins.

Errisar claims, "I like it being in the help character file at least. :)"

Nameless states, "I just got the stupidest idea ever."

Bimbly claims, "Someone named Data would appear to defeat them, clearly.

Regardless, it would be good to be able to quickly observe someone's apparent reputation, if they
have that sort of title, since apparently there are people that everyone knows, without having seen
them before, by reputation alone."

Jackassaurus claims, "I like it already"

Deedee nods at Bimbly.

Nameless says, "LOOK <character> LORE, reveals interesting things about the character. Set by
characters to reveal and specific city lore ranks"

Ghed nods at Nameless.

Ghed says, "Sounds like a cool idea Eddie"

Edison says, "I didn't care about people's prestige until I became a prestigious person, now it's
the most important thing ever"

Rafferty claims, "Beautiful, nameless"

Seraphite claims, "Please, god, give me more information from city lore. Yesssss."

Deedee questions, "Maybe a [K] appended notation for Known?"

Jackassaurus says, "WE dont pray to Dav for nothing"

Bimbly says, "I imagine the King and Queen are like that, though I don't know if it can apply to
NPC's, I'd like it to if it could. "

Nameless states, "I've cared about prestige forever, and I am invincibly convinced that the system
is heavily rigged against me"

Ghed nods at Deedee.

Ikeala states, "That actually does sound pretty cool. As it would inspire more lore entries about
folks that can then go around grid later. Which is always a plus."

Deedee claims, "It is rigged."

Ghed claims to Deedee, "Not bad"

Ghed tells you, "Prestige is everything"

Ghed tells you, "EVERYTHING"

Ghed asks of Edison, "Do you think your topic is sufficiently covered? Staff will discuss it among
ourselves"

Ghed clears his throat.

A tumbleweed rolls by

Ikeala nods.

Temi states, "Well, doesn't sound like a no."

Ghed states to Errisar, "Okay! You're next, we still have ground to cover."

Errisar claims, "I want to propose an @smoke special extended, so people can add a taste description
to smokables.
That's pretty much it. We just have a lot of smokable herbs that are described as
being spiced or otherwise, and it would be nice to give code support to that kind of thing."

Jackassaurus states, "Suspense is killing me"

Deedee states, "We covered it before, I think it's supposed to be covered by @taste"

Gnomely says, "Yes."

Temi says, "I feel like we discussed this previously and Leta was going to check with Eurus if
@taste should already work or will work with smokables, yeah"

Deedee states, "But not implemented yet probably"

Gnomely states, "I said the @smoke idea on the forum."

Ghed claims, "I like and approve it"

Ghed nods at Gnomely.

Gnomely states, "And it's one that a lot of people have wanted."

Ghed says, "I got approached about it by other players too"

Errisar nods.

Gnomely says, "I kind of want to see a smoke tag appear in the room too. With the smell of the
smoke."

Gnomely claims, "Kinda like how the pyre smells like dead things."

Jasmine says, "This had been brought up before yes"

Errisar claims, "Oooo, I like it."

Ghed claims, "What if someone farts"

Gnomely claims, "This is Lithmore. No one farts. That's heresy."

Ghed chuckles

Ghed says, "But yeah, it's approved"

Jasmine says, "It was agreed this was either in the works or already added, and I say its a good
onr

Ghed questions to Errisar, "Okay?"

Deedee begins to move west.

Errisar Well, don't smoke it, Ghed, and we'll all be okay.

Deedee wonders, "I think poop was apporved by Kinaed, but also never implemented, sadly?"

Deedee slows to a halt.

Ghed states, "Don't try it"

Jackassaurus states, "If your fart smoke our halfway to the pyre anyway"

Ghed states, "It makes you quit"

Cal trails off, "Eh.... I don't like the idea of tagging rooms with smoke scents... Just assume
every bar/inn smells of smoke and stale beer because in all actuality they did "

Errisar nods at Ghed.

Ghed nods at Cal.

Ghed says, "I do prefer to use moods, ambiance, or emotes for room tags"

Temi says, "I do think support was already added for incense as a part of the discovery faire"

Ghed says, "Ah yes"

Temi says, "But that is a specific item type"

Temi says, "Not everything smoked"

Gnomely states, "It's a shame there's no like, way to have teh smoke variably blend together if
multiple people are smoking in the same room, with that kind of thing."

Bimbly declares, "It took me a bit to remember it, but I have a topic to add to the end of the
list!"

Ghed nods at Bimbly.

Ghed pontificates to Jasmine, "You're next!"

Jasmine states, "Ah super simple one"

Jasmine states, "Could we consider re-working or changing how inactive guild members who are public
show on guildlist? Currently they just vanish, and as a player I rely on guildlist sometimes to tell
me who I can reach out to, but I have run multiple times into people falling inactive who are
actually very relevant characters who I could and should be reaching out to, who I forget exist
because they're not on guildlist and not usually out on the grid often. Is it possible to make even
inactive characters still show up, just greyed out perhaps? If they truly are super inactive the GL
should be removing them from the guild anyways, and it might help the inactive players get active
again to still be acknowledged as a member of the guild, particularly if they aren't ICly fired."

Deedee claims, "They don't fall off until 4 weeks inactive"

Ghed hmmmmms

Ghed nods at Deedee.

Nephrat nods.

Ghed says, "We do need to prioritize RP towards active folks"

Ikeala says, "It takes alot longer than 4 weeks for people to disappear entirely."

Jasmine states, "Its possible that the person in question is not a public member then, but ithen
don't be mad at me if I forget you exist"

Deedee says, "Ah-"

Jasmine says, "But this has happened multiple times so they can't ALL be un-public"

Deedee claims, "There was a bug that marked all members as not public on some guildlists a while
back"

Edison states, "May worth be noting that it's just after the holiday season and people have been
traveling"

Ikeala claims, "Public isn't default. People have to opt-in."

Ikeala nods.

Rafferty states, "Opt-out"

Rafferty claims, "Pretty sure"

Jasmine wonders, "Can we make it so public is the default? Again, i use guildlist as a tool to
identify people who I can reach out to re: that guild's stuff"

Temi says, "I think that may be different between covert guilds and regular"

Deedee claims, "Anyway, good idea for everyone to check whether they show on their guildlist or not,
and 'seek public' if you're not listed and should be"

Errisar claims, "I know it's still the default with Merchants, but I don't know about others."

Nephrat nods.

Gnomely says, "I can say that promoting people makes them public. Which is a bug I've reported in
the past."

Rafferty claims, "Ah, i was speaking for merchants, yes"

Ghed says to Jasmine, "We'll check with Eurus but we may not be able to do what you suggest"

Deedee claims, "Some ranks are public-only"

Jasmine states, "OK, appreciate the time."

Ghed nods.

Ghed exclaims to Bimbly, "You're up next!"

Temi states, "We've had some issues with the clarity of the roles code."

Temi nods.

[RPXP Gain:
none] [HP:injured MV:fatigued P:walk] (Diremote) (R)

Bimbly claims, "I am a new(er) player, and the current header plot is the first plot of any sort
I've dipped my toes into interacting with.

One thing I noticed after reading help plot, though, is how self-referential the helpfile is. Or,
put another way, it's (to me) a very dense and opaque series of helpfiles. Perhaps I just missed it
in my read-through, but -

Could an example of use/play be added to the plot helpfiles? I'm willing to just blunder into it,
but I worry that new(er) players who are less willing to fumble or, importantly, want to undertake
more covert plots that might endanger their character, might shy away from plots entirely because of
a lack of understanding."

Ghed trails off, "Staff plots are not what help plot covers... though I can see what you meant"

Ghed trails off, "I mean, not quite, but... yeah"

Deedee says, "I think Temi wrote a guide to plots on the forums which might help. The system is
pretty boggling though, I agree"

Temi states, "We do have a guide on the forums, yes"

Ghed is tired and not expressing himself clearly

Ghed nods.

Ghed claims, "The forums has a good guide, perhaps I should link to it in the helpfile"

Deedee nods at Ghed.

Bimbly states, "Right, okay. I'll check it out again. It's in the helpfile, though the helpfile
is... very long."

Temi queries, "viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2006"

Rafferty says, "That would be awesomesauce"

Jasmine questions, "Perhaps a briefer TLDR how to use plots could be added as a helpfile? I've
always disliked ahving to use outside stuff to play"

Ghed pontificates to Bimbly, "And I improved on what was there before!"

Ikeala asks, "There is a link on the forums that goes more step by step but ... maybe a Plot
explination link on the 'Guides' page on the website might also help?"

Jasmine says, "In actuality doing a plot is simple once you know the commands"

Ghed claims, "It's just the logic of it is confusing at first"

Temi says, "It is a bit dense, so hard to actually cover stuff and be light in the helpfiles"

Deedee says, "Plots aren't my favorite system, but I don't have any ideas to improve or replace it."

Bimbly says, "I've happily walked directly into all sorts of things on TI so far, and I'm happy to
continue to blunder through it, but it seems very easy to mess up on accident and have to bother
staff to fix."

Bimbly says, "This may sometimes include bears."

Rafferty grins.

Temi grins.

LunarEclipse says, "Bears are my favorite animal :) They are very cuddly."

Temi states, "If there's technical difficulties, we're happy to help"

Ghed nods.

Ghed claims to Bimbly, "Thanks for your good disposition, it's appreciate"

Ghed says, "Ddd"

Deedee states, "I think the most complicated part is contributing things to plots, there's two ways
to do it"

Bimbly says, "But, okay. Topic resolved, I suppose. I will say, the forum link in the middle of the
helpfile threw me, but that's just because I'm accustomed to everything being in the helpfiles in
one form or another."

Deedee nods at Bimbly.

Ghed trails off to Bimbly, "Yes, there's unfortunately a lot of ground to cover, but once you learn
it.... you learn it"

Deedee claims, "Until you forget it or it changes."

Bimbly exclaims, "I had to read the website's guide to combat to wrap my head around spacing, so it
makes sense there's other things complicated enough to need out-of-game reading, too!"

Errisar nods.

Bimbly declares, "Thanks for listening and such!"

Ruby is idle.

Ghed claims, "Of course"

Deedee queries, "Time for another idea?"

Dragor says, "I'll be honest, plots intimidate me."

Ghed states to Deedee, "Yes, I don't think there's anyone else left"

Ghed says to Dragor, "Happens to the best, I was scared of them on my first boy"

Deedee claims, "Quick one: intimate/breed could spread @smell from worn perfume."

Gnomely says, "Oh that would be hilarious."

Ghed opens his mouth and closes it

Ghed wonders, "That's... not a bad idea?"

Dragor states, "I MEAN_"

Ghed asks, "What do you folks think?"

Dragor muses, "MAKES SENSE??"

Errisar nods.

Gnomely states, "I love it."

Temi says, "It's interesting, but I don't know if it's worth Eurus's time"

Fala claims, "That is a terrible idea haha

Nameless says, "I think I'm gonna make them wash before-han dnow."

Bimbly claims, "I like this idea. Especially because it's very easy to remove a smell by taking a
bath."

Errisar says, "I like it."

Jasmine states, "But then you instantly have to wash it off because you're dirty"

Rafferty states, "Someone ask at the Jeweled Peacock"

Ghed claims, "Whoa I did not expect this uproar"

Errisar says, "What if both parties are wearing perfume."

Deedee claims, "Swap em"

Nameless claims, "Then you might get one person smelling like smoke and the other like flowers."

Bimbly wonders, "You get both?"

Ikeala claims, "My only concern is that perfumes add tags to people's names in rooms. And if it like
doubles up everyone's description tags."

Jasmine states, "Also very easy to note with a pmood if you really want people to know"

Errisar grins.

Ikeala states, "That could get super spammy."

Kalana says, "It probably wouldn't be good for my business, if people that are trying to impress
people didn't want to be wearing perfumes"

Ghed states, "You can override it with soap"

Ghed states, "Ye dirty peasants"

[RPXP
Gain: none] [HP:injured MV:fatigued P:walk] (Diremote) (R)

Deedee states, "Oh that reminds me"

Nameless says, "Soap? Pfft."

Ghed says, "And can buy the soap from Kalana"

Rafferty claims, "Have a roll in there to see which fragrance cancels the other"

Jasmine claims, "I admit there is a certain amount of discomfort from overt sexuality that one
cannot consent to, and having coded 'we fucked' tags when you look at people is uncomfortable"

Kalana says, "Hee

Ghed says to Rafferty, "A scent-off"

Seraphite questions, "I mean, isn't that what being pregnant is?"

Deedee states, "If you take a bath, then apply perfume, the perfume doesn't apply its affect since
the soap is active."

Ghed says to Jasmine, "Hmm"

Ikeala says, "Haha."

Fala wonders what kind of relations people are having where they smear perfume all over each other.

Seraphite envies Fala's innocence.

Nephrat says, "What Seraphite said."

Rafferty queries, "Tell your boy no nookie before he bathes?"

Errisar says, "So maybe pmoods to keep down the spam and to help not overwhelm folks with RP they
might not opt into? Also, if washing removes perfume, I hope everyone washes after using breed,
because it flags you as not being clean anymore."

Deedee nods.

Ghed says, "It takes you one step towards dirty"

Errisar says, "So it might be redundant, considering that washing would remove the affect."

Deedee states, "Those commands do make you dirty, yes"

Deedee says, "If you're not already bathed"

Jasmine says, "Especially since acting or saying sexual things can be reacted to ICly but someone's
second-hand sex perfume isn't always commentable"

Bimbly states, "I'm not saying people use perfume to cover up their (dirty) status to preserve app
score, but...

No, wait, that's exactly what I'm saying."

Dragor says, "I'm not saying anything but uhh, I smell like my wife's perfume quite often, because
you know, we're very close to each other."

Ghed nods.

Ghed claims to Deedee, "We'll analyze it"

Fala does not smell like her husband's cologne.

Deedee nods at Ghed.

Jasmine states, "And I just dont always want to be involved with someone else's sex RP, I'll be
honest, I'd prefer it to be out of sight and out of mind"

Cal trails off, "It runs close to Sindome's sex smell add which is... annoying"

Gnomely states, "While we're still on the subject, and since it's sort of connected. Maybe smoking
can add a smell to the person smoking."

Ghed trails off to Cal, "That's what I was thinking of, but SD is way more... explicit about it"

Ghed claims, "Guys let's stop with smoke affects please y'all driving me crazy"

Deedee laughs.

Errisar says, "I think that any inherent benefit of coding it is not worth the potential discomfort
here, from what I'm hearing.

Dragor asks, "Sindome?"

Rafferty muses, "How would you know someone did not apply their own perfume?"

Deedee nods at Rafferty.

Jasmine states, "If you really, REALLY want this, just have your gf give you her perfume and apply
it yourself then"

Ghed states, "Or apply it to them non consensually as they fall asleep"

Dragor claims, "Stealth perfume act"

Fala states, "I have a new character concept."

Errisar nods to Jasmin.

Bimbly muses, "Can you apply perfumes while Hiding in a room unnoticed?"

Ghed says, "I'll be real frank Bee- I've no idea"

Bimbly states, "I know you can sit at tables if you hide well enough, without it revealing you."

Deedee states, "I don't think so."

Kalana claims, "I'm not saying I approve... but I would be amused.

Deedee claims, "Also applying perfume to someone if they're standing will initiate combat."

Fala laughs.

Bimbly trails off, "I'm not saying anyone should do this at, say, the next council meeting, but..."

Ikeala says, "'You stink' ... 'Catch hands' seems fair."

Ghed states, "Okay folks we're at the top of the hour"

Ghed says, "Please remember to post rumors, cnote discoveries, and recommend each other for
meaningful RP =)

Rafferty waves.

Bimbly exclaims, "Oh, right. I have an obtuse question, just to ask of the gathered folks here, if
that's okay!"

Dragor says, "I never meaningfully RP"

Dragor says, "Sorry"

Bimbly pontificates, "It should be speedy!"

Ghed claims to Bimbly, "Super quick"

Dragor claims, "I can't."

Deedee wonders to Bimbly, "Yes?"

Bimbly questions, "I already asked Ghed, who didn't know the answer at that time, but -

The combat guide on the forums mentions blind-fighting. What... is that? It talks about practicing
it, but is that an actual thing you need to practice? help blindfold also mentions it. Is it an
obsolete skill or something?"

Ghed says, "That's obsolete"

Deedee states, "That's gone"

Ghed groans

Bimbly states, "Oh, okay."

Gnomely says, "A lot of the cool combat functions are obsolete."

Ghed says, "Thanks for flagging that"

Deedee nods.

Gnomely says, "It makes me sad."

Ghed claims to Gnomely, "Our combat code is cool, and we work hard to make it better"

Gnomely nods at Ghed.

Errisar says, "Backstab's the only remaining
special maneuver, I believe."

Deedee states, "I'd like to see blindfighting return, but probably not high priority"

Edison is now idling.

Ghed claims, "Okay guys"

Ghed trails off, "Engaging warp drive in 3..."

Deedee waves.

Bimbly pontificates, "Backstab works. I know because I backstabbed a goat with my fishing pole once.
I haven't found any other obsolete combat references. Thanks for answering!"

Ghed trails off, "2..."

Fala runs around screaming!

Seraphite declares, "Wee!"

Ghed trails off, "1..."
