Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Jennifer.

Jennifer pontificates, "Puppy!"

Jennifer declaims, "Wait puppy!"

InvestSouthside states, "Roll over"

A roly-poly white-bellied puppy enthusiastically flops over and rolls exuberantly over - straight
into InvestSouthside.

Brenier declares, "Oh, neat snack bowl!"

Temi grins.

Eeel states, "SPOOKY snack bowl"

Jennifer asks, "Aww whose puppy?"

Temi states, "He stands in for Lochan"

Karrin has transferred Dreams. [OOC]

InvestSouthside pets a roly-poly white-bellied puppy

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Dreams.

Jennifer questions, "You can make the dog do things?"

Karrin has transferred Meiari. [OOC]

Jennifer states, "Aww there's no food! But cool bowl."

Temi says, "He can roll over and play dead"

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Meiari.

InvestSouthside claims, "Play dead"

A roly-poly white-bellied puppy does a good approximation of a dead act, little paws curled up over
its belly and tongue sticking out a bit floppily. The exuberantly wagging tail does detract from
the overall effect, though.

Eeel says, "One day you should just give us a heretical book or a magical tome as the ooc gift and
the inquisition can have a field day"

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to MaskedHarlequin.

InvestSouthside carefully considers a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus.

The following information is recorded about it:
Carved out of a darkly stained wood, a series of friezes around the exterior
of the small bowl have each been carefully whittled down so that the material
is just thin enough to allow some light through, illuminating the different
scene faintly in contrast while still allowing it to remain sturdy. There is
little detail to the figure beyond it's rough shape, just enough to show it
taking part in each of the pious little tableaus, kneeling in prayer, holding
up a chalice, bent over a book and in confession with another figure in an
inquisitorial-style hat. The inside of bowl is completely smooth, though the
thinner spots in the wood from the carving across the exterior do shine
through, when not filled, of course.

It is priced at approximately 40 silver.
This 'a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus' is a kind of container.
It appears to be made of common wood.
It looks to be in excellent condition.
It weighs around 2 pounds.
It can be worn as follows: take hold
Its value should be approximately 40 silver.
It could hold approximately 5 handheld objects, to a maximum of 50 pounds.
Contents of this container could be carried as if they weigh 100% of their total weight.
It is currently 0% full by size or 0% by weight.
This can be embellished.

Karrin has transferred Rosethorn. [OOC]

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Rosethorn.

Jennifer says, "Sit"

Jennifer queries, "How do you make the puppy do things?"

Karrin claims, "You either tell it to roll over or play dead."

Jennifer declares, "Aww that's adorables!"

Eeel states, "He doesn't know sit"

Jennifer exclaims, "That is sad. All dogs know sit!"

Eeel states, "Silly puppy"

Temi claims, "He doesn't listen to staffers."

Meiari holds a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus in her hand.

Meiari spins her bowl around on the surface in front of her, watching as it slowly rocks and comes
to a stop, the scene with the figure praying coming up facing her.

Karrin states, "We'll wait a few for stragglers."
Gaggable keepalive command.

Meiari lifts a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to her nose and sniffs at
it.

Eeel lifts a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to his nose and sniffs at it.

Scarry claims, "If you need a dog to train, may I recommend Eeel."

Jennifer holds a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus in her hand.

Jennifer spins her bowl around on the surface in front of her, watching as it slowly rocks and comes
to a stop, the scene with the figure bent over a book coming up facing her.

Eeel states, "OK OK OK"

Jennifer exclaims, "Oh that's cool!"

Jennifer stops using a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus.

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Ikeala.

HIEROPHANT trails off, "This seems somehow... familiar..."

Eeel claims, "HMMM"

Karrin states to HIEROPHANT, "Hmm, wonder why."

Temi grins at HIEROPHANT.

Ikeala states, "Ah, good, good."

Karrin has transferred Valora. [OOC]

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Valora.

Valora looks at the dark bowl curiously. "Huh cool."

Meiari claims, "I need snacks to put in it."

Scarry says, "Gee I wonder why it feels familiar."

Karrin whistles innocently.

Karrin blames Temi, too.

Temi questions, "Well, clearly everyone has pious snack bowls?"

Karrin exclaims, "For mass!"

Eeel states, "Dont eat in mass"

Meiari finishes abruptly, "Naturally - mass needs the snacks"

Karrin wonders, "Ok, let's go ahead and get started. Do I have a volunteer for scribe?"

Karrin plays a medieval big band version of the Jeopardy theme song.

InvestSouthside says, "If no one wants scribe I will run it already set up"

Karrin nods at InvestSouthside.

Karrin has awarded you 3 QPs: scribe

Karrin says, "OOC Chat Rules:

Karrin questions, "Ok, how has RP been this week?"

Sanura claims, "Long, busy, but overall good. I am ready for a nap."

Meiari says, "Very busy. very involved."

Scarry claims, "I have been fully back into it and it's nice. Currently doing a little bit of a tour
and introducing myself and stuff to all the wonderful newbies."

Eeel says, "Pretty goooood! Guild is popping off. Lots of new characters to interact with
generally."

Valora states, "So many new people to meet. Been great."

Ikeala says, "It's seemed very busy. Excited for new vic - friends to meet."

Karrin claims, "We do have quite a lot of cyans running around the grid, at the moment."

Brenier states, "Oh, it was very interesting. Very, very interesting. Quite intense."

Jennifer states, "It's been going great. Less than a week, already topped 25 hours. lol"

Eeel states, "Love to see it"

Karrin has transferred Tatty. [OOC]

MaskedHarlequin states, "So many great scenes with a lot great people and I just have been
constantly excited."

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Tatty.

Tatty declares, "Oooh!"

Karrin questions, "Ok, good to hear things are going well. Anyone have topics, except the one person
who already told me?"

Karrin has transferred Araket. [OOC]

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Araket.

Karrin says, "For the sake of those I've brought in - since new - let me repost our rules for this
meeting."

Karrin claims, "OOC Chat Rules:

Karrin says, "Alright, Temi and I can go first. If you come up with any topics as we go, just let me
know, and I'll add you to the list."

Karrin says to Temi, "Your go."

Temi exclaims, "Okay!"

Temi finishes abruptly, "So, I've been busy keeping up on the plot header stuff. It took me a
little longer this week than I meant it to - apologies to those who didn't have as long to work on
the RP as desired but I did get back to everyone by at least yesterday night, so you have at least
the weekend"

Karrin nods.

Temi states, "I will be gone again next weekend - Thursday through Sunday, so I'm going to do my
best to have plots handled by Wednesday night again, hopefully should be in a good stead to do that.
But I may be able to pop in at least on the phone if nothing else. Probably missing OOC chat next
weekend though"

Karrin says, "Which means I will need to handle the gift. Be afraid. Be very afraid."

Temi says, "But still feel free to go about plots as usually this week and next. I -have- been
working on getting together the mechanisms for the twin wars stuff and have a post to share for you
guys, which should hopefully simplify some things"

Temi says, "Let me get that up and let you have a quick read for any shared questions"

Temi starts writing a note. (This is an OOC action)

Valora begins planning mass pyring in nimrock square to ensure the OOC item is extra terrible.

Meiari trails off, "Wait a minute..."

Karrin wonders to Temi, "This was based off of feedback from the GL meeting, right?"

INFO> Temi has written a new note, Behind the Scenes for the Twin Wars, on the General board.
Temi finishes her note.

Temi declaims, "Somewhat, yep! Though I still owe a little more there too"

Karrin nods at Temi.

Temi says, "I was hoping for a little more together if it hadn't taken me through last night on
plots"

Temi grins.

Karrin points at Capitalism. "I brought him in.

Temi gives a darkly lacquered snack bowl carved with shadowed tableaus to Capitalism.

Temi states, "I bowled him."

Karrin says, "Feel free to look at that note Temi posted, let us know if there are questions."

Capitalism says, "Mwahahaha... I have arrived."

Temi nods in agreement.

Karrin states, "This is all her, and nothing me, so I am not able to assist."

Temi claims, "Note on the general board, feel free to ask questions now, or follow up later"

Eeel queries, "Can NPC nobles die in this war?"

Temi states, "Absolutely"

Scarry wonders, "Can we do the French Commune a little early?"

Valora says OOCly, "Oh lord... that's a note... big note. "

Valora says, "Oops"

Temi states, "I'm probably not going to kill Amir or Alessandra in the background battles, leave
that to more direct influence, but somebody could certainly end up dead"

Meiari finishes abruptly, "Yay - regicide is on the menu boys"

Tatty questions, "Can anyone influence plots?"

Brenier exclaims, "Ehehehe!"

HIEROPHANT claims, "Hypothetically."

HIEROPHANT wonders, "What happens if they both die?"

Karrin states to Tatty, "Yes, though most don't do it on their own. They get drawn in."

Jennifer states, "Sometimes I feel I'm not smart enough for this game. so much of this goes over my
little ooc head."

Capitalism says, "This is how we get a new Queen... Now we just need to remove her husband and give
her a new King Consort."

Capitalism sagenods.

Karrin says to HIEROPHANT, "There's successions to the throne in place."

Tatty says, "Hey Jennifer, you ar not alone."

Karrin states to Capitalism, "Not how that works."

Temi states, "Karrin and I did discuss the idea that this could be a good chance for some clean
slates on noble houses that have gotten a bit filled up, more room for creativity for future
players"

Capitalism questions, "No?"

Valora says, "If you want to get involved I suggest talking to GLs or elder characters you like.
They can back your plots and help you find your footing OOC and IC."

Temi claims to Tatty, "Anyone who wants to get involved certainly has room to have influence.
Anyone who feels overwhelmed has room to step back too"

Capitalism snaps his fingers and grumbles.

Karrin states, "All of our nobles, and royalty, have heirs. Spouses do not gain the land or titles.
Heirs do. As long as one exists."

Sulak states, "Im pretty sure Ird canonically doesnt have an heir rn"

Temi claims, "Mind you, if a noble dies defying their monarch, their heir may not gain the title."

Karrin says to Sulak, "So that one could be up in the air."

Karrin nods in agreement with Temi.

Capitalism pours one out for the previous baron of Ird.

Sulak claims, "From what I remember speaking to the last ird pc noble"

Sulak states, "For real capitalism"

Karrin claims, "Alright, any other questions on that? It's just a little guidance. Or a lot of
guidance."

Karrin claims to Temi, "A lot of guidance. You have many words."

Sanura states, "A lot of good guidance I feel"

Karrin nods.

Temi claims, "Anyone who's been around for a while knows how I love my rules and things and trying
different things on each of these types of events"

Karrin trails off, "Let's hope so. Alright. If there are no more questions for Temi (for now...)"

Karrin nods in agreement with Temi.

Capitalism says, "Wish I could stay. Gotta run an errand. Will have to read the note in more depth."

Temi states, "I also have put together a bit of a who's who post, that people were mentioning might
be nice, so I'll post that soon too. Still to finalize that"

Temi waves.

Karrin nods.

Karrin claims, "More coming tomorrow."

Temi states, "Also happy for others to contribute as was suggested if you have ideas"

Capitalism queries, "Can you pfoof me back or should I sprint down?"

Capitalism has been transferred out by Karrin. [OOC]

Ikeala queries, "Also, clean slates like getting rid of the old family's etc?"

Temi nods in agreement with Ikeala.

Eeel claims, "That'll be interesting"

Temi says, "That's part of what we're thinking"

Tatty wonders, "Can someone quickly elaborate on that?"

Ikeala queries, "Elaborate on what part?"

Temi says, "We have a set number of noble domains, each of which often have stories already
associated with them, with the noble house and what has happened in the past there"

Tatty declaims, "Oooh!"

Temi states, "So when someone applies to play a noble, they have to make their new character fit in
with one of those existing histories."

Scarry says, "Elevate Tatty to nobility."

Sanura waves

Eeel states, "Elevate Tatty to nobility"

Tatty states, "Tatty is a lowly tatty."

Temi says, "So, if we have a bunch of families die off in a civil war, we have room for more new
stories while using the same old domains"

Tatty says, "I love that."

Araket claims, "Oh that is cool"

Karrin nods.

Sulak claims, "Rubs my hands together fiendishly"

Temi claims, "Die off in civil war meaning actually in the war, or in response to whoever wins being
upset about the sides they took."

Temi grins.

Jennifer states, "We who have been playing this game off and on for near on a decade just sighs at
all the lost history. But in the grand scheme of things it is great."

Karrin claims, "Been around for more than a decade. But, anyway."

Temi nods.

Jennifer claims, "Oh no I know! I mean I've been playing it on and off for about a decade. lol"

Temi states, "Anyway, that's me."

Temi nods at Karrin.

Karrin says, "And we're not losing history, just making a place for other people to come in there."

Araket declares, "I've been here a whole week today!!"

Eeel states, "Yippee Araket"

Meiari finishes abruptly, "It's the game of thrones - old families die, new families take over :3"

Tatty declares, "Im so glad you're here Araket!"

Karrin claims, "I have been catching up with building places - Temi does the things and the people
for now, so give a little more grace on that as she's been handling plots. For me, it's been people
in my tells (it's fine, it just takes some of my focus), and a... rather impressive number of
recommends. Really, really impressive. Number. of Recommends. Magdalena came on briefly to help with
some of those, but I've gotten the majority of them."

Eeel states, "Here's to 521 more weeks araket"

Jennifer states, "Yep yep pretty much lol"

Scarry states, "I have been here not too long."

Karrin says, "If you want your recommends to count for this week, get them in today so I can process
them. And, remember recommends reset tonight at midnight, so you can recommend people again starting
tomorrow, if they are amazing enough to deserve such accolades."

Scarry states, "Feels like a lifetime sometimes tho"

Tatty asks, "Recommends?"

Scarry claims, "Help recommend gives an overview."

Eeel says, "Check out help recommend yeah"

Scarry states, "But basically it's praising another player for things they do, giving RP, pushing
plot forward, etc."

Karrin says to Tatty, "I feel like I've processed at least one for you."

Temi claims, "You can check recommend list to see what's in your history"

Tatty pontificates, "I love help files! I did get a thing but wasn't sure if only certain ranks or
leaders could do em"

Karrin claims, "Nope, everyone."

Jennifer states, "No it's a player wide thing."

Tatty says, "I'm not use to places having proper helpfiles."

Temi states, "Staff approve them, but anyone can send them"

Karrin claims, "Go by the helpfile if you want them to be awarded. We don't like kicking them back
if they are vague enough that we can't award, but we will."

Scarry states, "I keep forgetting recommends and I feel baaaaad."

Scarry says, "THis is what I get for playing this game at literally night time."

Eeel states, "I've sent a few, but not nearly enough"

Karrin claims, "Ok! I have one topic so far, if anyone else thinks of something, let me know."

Karrin says to Scarry, "You're up."

Scarry states, "Hello class, I have something I figured out after all the plots we done for the
funny header plot.

Charisma is REALLY strong for plots and it's used in... basically anything. Even when people try to
do logistics or investigations or anything like that, it boils down to pure charisma rolls. Which is
a real problem for GLs too, especially for guilds like the knights and the reeves.

It might be worthwhile to put that in the helpfile that basically anything that interacts with
humans will boil down to charisma rolls, so people can appropriately prepare for that when they want
to contribute to plots."

Eeel states, "Yeah charisma is pretty big for plots it seems, agree"

Karrin claims, "I think charisma makes sense when you're trying to convince people of things. I have
done some plots without charisma rolls, but... yeah. It's going to make sense that the more
charismatic you are, the better people will receive what you're saying."

Valora cries in 60 charisma GL.

Temi states, "Luck is the one that I roll pretty much every time, and then it's often charisma for
convincing or dealing with people or wisdom for figuring things out"

Karrin nods.

Karrin claims, "And Luck is random. And sometimes quite evil."

Eeel states, "HONESTLY, Luck rolls frustrate me, I know why theyre there and why theyre necessary,
but they do"

Temi says, "Which I do think helps make out for both of those stats being weaker in on grid impacts"

Karrin claims, "But we DO see some great luck rolls, so."

Scarry says, "I don't mind the luck roll as much - luck is luck. It happens."

Valora claims, "Luck is the devil stat and I hate it lovingly, like I hate darksouls bosses. "

Eeel states, "When you put together a plot that's perfect in every other way, and you prepare
copiously, and you have all the skills, but your uncontrollable luck roll is bad, grahhh"

Temi states, "I try to have wisdom being a bigger impact than charisma for investigations, though
it's possible I'm failing on that at times"

Scarry claims, "All I'm saying is when people try to put out plans there with sober intellect, it
doesn't matter, because charisma is used anyway. I just feel that should be mentioned for GLs so
they can appropriately skill themselves."

Scarry says, "Stats are very expensive."

Meiari states, "I would argue that maybe social standing in your guild (if you are loved vs if you
are hated) should help influence how others receive you, at least for GL. Idk if that would look
like getting an extra roll to try to get things in your favor, or a little more grace so if you
rolled close number wise it might tip you over - but I think that being considered would be nice."

A roly-poly white-bellied puppy flops over onto its back and promptly rolls over half way before it
stops, feet wiggling in the air before it falls back over.

Meiari pats the puppy.

Eeel says, "Don't think I've ever seen an int roll in a plot"

Karrin claims, "That's something we can consider, certainly."

Karrin states, "I've done int rolls."

Scarry claims, "Hard to play a person who just quietly builds up the infrastructure of things and
lay out plans when you need charisma for it anyway. I learned now but I wish I would've known
before, tbh."

Valora says, "I've seen them. Int rolls that is."

Temi claims, "I've done some, but not nearly as common."

Karrin asks, "Sort of 'do you look like an idiot, or nah'?"

InvestSouthside says, "I have had at least one or two int rolls was funny"

Meiari states, "I love when wisdom rolls show up so I can see through peoples BS"

Scarry says, "Just need to push my cha higher to have kind of impact, rofl."

Scarry says, "(that isn't purely obstructive, that is)"

Temi claims, "I can try to keep that in mind, and maybe we can have some sort of agreement to note
'trying not deal with people here and just let the work speak for itself' or something"

Ikeala says, "I do wonder if part of the confusion might be that people often get recommended stat
and skill investments (on visnet, by friends etc) based on what they do on grid/mechanically in the
game vs what they may/may not do in a potential future plot so, I do wonder if a helpfile laying
that stuff out might be a resource people can point to."

Temi nods in agreement with Ikeala.

Eeel says, "Imagine if bumping your charisma bumped your appearance score after char generation.
Scarry's character slowly becoming prettier and prettier."

Eeel states, "And yeah I agree with Ikeala"

Karrin nods.

Scarry states, "I would ask staff to just push me down again."

Karrin questions, "So, basically, an addition to the current HELP STATS?"

Scarry states, "I want to be uggo."

Scarry states, "Yeah, I think it would be good."

Temi states, "Happy to take into account if you specifically out that you're trying to not do
something a specific way, e.g. not by convincing people, etc"

Karrin states, "We can consider it. Admittedly I'm a bit behind, and have asked for help with
helpfilifying things over on the discord for QP. But, I bet we can put some thought into it."

Valora says, "I want all my charisma rolls to be intimidation (sword) rolls from here on please and
thank you lol."

Scarry states, "A pointy metal stick would convince me."

Sulak claims, "Sometimes you do have to convince people to do stuff though. Sometimes there
shouldn't be another option."

Karrin states to Valora, "Only if you wave it around just right."

Valora says, "Hahaha Noted"

Scarry claims, "That's easy, I just convince my friends with the sparkly App 5 and 100 charisma to
do that part from now on."

Sulak states, "Sometimes there should be another option though. If you can plan it right and if
letting your work speak for itself or what have you makes sense."

Karrin says to Scarry, "That is actually quite a smart way to do it."

Sulak trails off, "But like, yeah, if you're, idk, trying to rally the people of a domain to your
cause, you can't be like... I'd like to roll int because I'll pwn them with facts and logic instead"

Sulak says, "In my opinion"

Temi claims, "To be perfectly honest, I generally don't look at what your skills or stats are before
I roll them, just roll for what you're describing"

Temi grins.

Ikeala questions, "Would tagging things be easier/help?"

Eeel states, "I did have a plot recently where I didn't really understand why there was a charisma
roll involved, but maybe I should discuss that privately if it matters"

Scarry claims, "Honestly, I would like to tag actions with what I THINK is the appropriate
stat/skill and rewrite it or accept it when Temi sends a note that says otherwise."

Karrin claims, "We are both willing to answer questions."

Temi says, "As long as you won't be grumpy when I add others, but I'm generally happy to add an
additional roll to be considered if nothing else. And all rolls are not considered as equally
important in the list, just aspects of it"

Scarry says, "Even if that makes plots a bit slower."

Karrin says, "I think it used to be one roll. I was the one who started up the three - and take the
best two thing."

Scarry states, "I love plots, but a lot of it is kinda scary and opaque sometimes on how certain
actions are read. Especially because I try to keep mine shorter so staff doesn't have to read a
short story about how I want to do a thing."

Temi states, "Not quite the best two of three, but that'll be the majority of it, with some ability
to add a little flavor from the last, and if not too much going on, happy to discuss back on things
and get it all sorted out, though maybe less so if things are a little too swamped"

Karrin claims, "It's a delicate balance. The more detail, the less likely we are to misinterpret?
But that takes time."

Temi states, "And I do appreciate the concise, that's helpful"

Karrin states to Temi, "Oh, yes, majority 2 of three. 2 bad rolls and 1 good roll = bad. But, 1
awful roll and 2 ok roles = ok."

HIEROPHANT claims, "I try to break up my GRAND PLANS FOR WORLD CONQUEST into, like, smaller plots no
more than 400 words in length if I can help it"

Scarry states, "Anyway, I have been satisfied."

Karrin claims, "If it is too much, we will probably kick it back and ask for it to be broken up. We
should have done that with some past ones, but went ahead and processed them. But, we'll let you
know."

Karrin nods.

Karrin questions, "Any other topics?"

Scarry claims, "Now give me 2000000 xp thank u so I can catch up to Ikeala."

Temi states, "Well, I can share this one too"

Temi starts writing a note. (This is an OOC action)

Karrin says, "More Temi notes."

Araket is idle.

Eeel says, "Yippee"

Araket is no longer idle.

Meiari finishes abruptly, "I do like temi notes - knowledge is power"

INFO> Temi has written a new note, The Twin Wars - Who's Who?, on the IC_Events board.
Temi finishes her note.

Karrin says, "Still need a new title for her. "Player Requests" isn't it."

Temi states, "Hope that helps sort things out for people, though I don't think any of it is actual
new info"

HIEROPHANT says, "The Daravi. Just. All of 'em."

HIEROPHANT queries, "Does this mean I can take partial credit?"

Temi wonders to HIEROPHANT, "Do you want to?"

Karrin pats HIEROPHANT on the head.

Temi states, "Could be risky."

Eeel states, "Every Daravi is important <3"

HIEROPHANT states, "I feel like it's being given regardless of my desires for it."

Tatty enjoys the chaos as it happens.

Temi states, "I also considered adding onto their entry 'they're probably up to something', but I
figured that went without saying."

HIEROPHANT says, "I'm definitely up to something."

Meiari asks, "I think Amir's scribe snarked that they were having tea parties - does that count?"

Temi claims, "Well, a tea party is something"

Karrin says, "Haha. So, another good Temi posting."

Temi finishes abruptly, "If anyone wants to add anything there - or anyone, let me know and we can
supplement"

Karrin nods.

Karrin queries, "Alright! Any other topics, or shall I send you back to your miserable lives in
Lithmore?"

HIEROPHANT pontificates, "Just one small detail from me!"

Sanura says, "It's only as miserable as I make it"

Scarry states, "I'm very miserable and sad."

Karrin says to HIEROPHANT, "Sure."

HIEROPHANT states, "By plot policy, running plots provides rec level when they're processed along
with a bit of QP, just like recommends. If you're a newer character and haven't hit 100 percent rec
level yet, try asking your GL how you can help with whatever they're working on! Plot advances
against headers don't cost you QP to run."

Karrin states, "That is a nice tidbit."

Karrin says, "And yes, we award those."

Temi says, "An excellent reminder"

Eeel trails off, "I've been playing for years and haven't hit 100 percent rec level..."

Temi says, "You're working your way there gradually"

Temi grins at Eeel.

Tatty asks, "Uhm..can I ask for some help with understanding that or is there a helpfiles?"

Scarry muses, "What exactly? Rec level or plots?"

HIEROPHANT states, "It involves the plot system. The rewards are listed in help plot rewards."

Tatty muses, "Rec level?"

Karrin claims, "The answer is that there are nearly always helpfiles - our helpfiles are pretty
intuitive, IMHO."

HIEROPHANT says, "Ah! See help rec level and help recommendations for more info there."

Tatty says, "Sometimes helpfiles feel like a wall of text that I can struggle with if it's something
new. Which a lot of this is."

HIEROPHANT says, "Yep."

Temi says, "We don't mind the asking questions anyway"

Scarry claims, "But in short, 'rec level' is showing you what percentage of invested XP you recoup
when you liquidate your character or the character dies."

Karrin nods.

Tatty says, "Oooh."

Araket questions, "So its like a reward system to encourage fresh characters?"

Scarry says, "You can see your rec level in score. basically you have a certain percentage of your
old char's XP for your new one."

Temi claims, "It's a reward system to encourage everyone"

Karrin states, "It means that, if you lose your character, you have more to spend on your next."

Araket says, "Understood - I worded that very poorly."

Scarry claims, "It starts at 30 percent and recommends, plots you started, and storytelling (I
think?) gets you all of that. Storytelling is basically a self-contained story where one player
assumes the role of the GM."

Temi claims, "To reward engagement on your current character, especially the sort of engagement that
can mean big risks that might result in losing them, to make it easier for the next one."

HIEROPHANT declaims, "If you're murdered or executed by the authorities, you get a bonus that can
exceed 100 percent, meaning you get more than you invested back for your next character! "

Scarry claims, "A violent death (combat, execution) nets you a 20 percent bonus when you die, btw."

Tatty says, "Hehe. like getting into a relationship without declaring it. naughty and dangerous."

Jennifer states, "Right and I think... the xp you haven't spent, when your char kicks the bucket, or
liquidated, that you end up keeping. The rec just impacts how much you get back."

HIEROPHANT claims, "And, 'tis 30 percent, not 20."

Scarry says, "Oh! So soon I can go crazy and just die. Yay."

Karrin says, "The xp that you haven't spent is always on your account."

Temi nods in agreement.

Tatty has returned from AFK.

Eeel says, "Dont do that scarry :("

Scarry states, "I must do it for the bit."

Karrin says, "The rec level is based on the deathxp. And has nothing to do with what you haven't
spent - deathxp comes from what you have spent on that character, and the rec level determines the
percentage of that."

Eeel says, "Oh, for the bit? Okay I understand. Acceptable."

Araket questions, "I have to go, can you eject me or do will it happen automatically if I logout? "

Karrin states, "Or, other way around. The deathxp is based on the rec level, rather. And comes from
the xp you have spent on that character."

Karrin questions, "Ok! Any other questions or comments before I send you back?"

Jennifer declares, "Energize!"

Meiari dances.

Tatty states, "Byeeee"

Karrin declaims, "Have fun!"
