This would be a command similar to pmote or perform. You would put in an emote and specify a skill, and the emote would be tagged with a descriptor letting others know how good you are at said skill.

Syntax: semote skillname text

I.e.,

semote footwork dances around on the stage

would display

Soandso dances around on the stage.
He is adept at footwork.

(Pending of course that said PC WAS adept at footwork.)

Unlike perform/pmote, using this command would NOT raise the skill involved. Mostly, this would allow for roleplayed demonstrations of skill in all sorts of ways that can't currently be done.

I support this idea, it basically expands role play possibilities without any risk of unbalancing anything (since use doesn't improve the skill).
