Bards Viewing Bid Tallies

At OOC chat recently there was a request for bards to have more unique abilities. I wonder if it would be good for Bards to be able to view the tallies on Seneschal campaigns or get an approximation of the standings (like whether the lead is slight, moderate or great) in exchange for silver or IP, similar to how they can gain additional info about project contributors. Niche, but useful for both candidates and troubadours.
