The Grand Magnate Emma ab Courtland has resigned her post, citing the
desire to focus upon her personal shop and family as the primary causes.
Appointed in her place is Corlan dul Nulaam, the Magnate of Lithmore, once
member of the Reeves. Courtland has taken a less time-consuming position,
now serving as the Trade Master of Jeweling in Lithmore.

Letters to the Grand Magnate concerning the rebuilding of the Farin Quarter
and all other matters should be directed to Grand Magnate Corlan dul
Nulaam.

Brynieve's approval shifts from Approved to Entrenched.

Through crisis and troubles, many have come together to help keep Lithmore
together during the last year. One of the names most often mentioned in
the background and halls of power are that of Lady Justiciar de Versin.
Rumors speak of frequent letters and quick action getting the orphans care
when they needed it, before they were endangered by the fire that destroyed
their old home. They speak of her pulling her Reeves together into a more
efficient force than the Reeves had seen in years. Though not a battle
leader, she has proven herself an effective Justiciar and noblewoman who
has gone above and beyond the call of duty time and time again for the
betterment of the Kingdom, at least that is what some of the rumors are
saying.

Karrina's approval shifts from Ousted to Ousted.

As of the late much chatter has emerged from those close to several
knights. The common topic? That many lower ranking members of the Knights
lithmorran are dissatisfied with the lack of presence the Earl Marshall has
had as of late, specifically during Lithmore's time of need when she should
be leading her Knights the most.

She will claim it is due to illness, but many leaders have still been able
to lead their men and women while injured or sick. This has lead many
knights to question her ability to fulfill her duties as Earl Marshall.

The lingering effects of the magic upon the Farin Quarter had barely
dissipated before efforts got underway to help deal with the aftermath, not
least of which has been the recovery and accounting of those who lost their
lives to the Blackest Day. With the Farin Quarter sunken into the Urth,
access for these workers was trecherous at best, but it wasn't long before
contractors hired by the Court began to arrive and construct a scaffold to
ease the way for the recovery efforts.

The Reeves took advantage of this scaffolding to begin the process of clean-up
and recovery, relocating the many bodies of the fallen to the hospital - a
lengthy and tiring project which still remains underway as they are sorted,
identified, and burned or buried.

With the recovery process underway, an announcement went out to the people
from the office of the Regent:

People of Lithmore,

Tragedy has struck our city, yet through our unity and our efforts we have
come through and prevailed against the magic unleashed upon us all. We
must never forget those who perished at the hands of these mages. The
Kingdom mourns for the loss of so many faithful citizens. We must keep
their memories in our hearts and never forget what has been done.

There are many who still live however, peoples whose homes and livlihoods
have been devastated. Though the fight against the Gateways is over, our
work is not yet done. For this reason we call upon the community once more
for aid. The Farin Quarter is in need of rebuilding, but the task is going
to be a complicated one and will take a great deal of work. As such the
Crown is soliciting ideas from the general public.

If you have an idea or a plan on how to go about the rebuilding efforts,
please send your ideas to his Grace, Tomas ab Jinosa, Regent of Lithmore.
It is important that work begins soon so that the people of the Farin
Quarter need not spend any more time than necessary away from their homes.
Thank you all for your efforts and contributions and Lord bless us all.

In subject of: Wedding Festivities Come to a Close!
Date : Mon Jun 15 09:48:08 2015
Expires : Sat Mar 10 08:48:16 2018

_________________________________________________________________________
The week of wedding celebrations have come to a close after the nuptials
of the Lord Regent and Lady Justiciar. The fine feast provided by Shaylei
le Orban de Moradar was quite the hit, the banquet of fine Farin foods
going down quite well with the guests and then again later when the feast
was taken by the newlywed couple to the Farin Refugees that they might
partake in a feast from their homeland.

To cap the end of the festivities, an archery contest was held at the
Knights keep. A number of competitors showed up and it was a hard fought
battle. In the end it came down to two surprise contestents: Verrin
Jeweler and a woman named Almaz with a last name no one can really figure
out how to say. In the end it was the woman who triumphed, taking home the
purse and the silver decorated quiver and armguard. The Regent apparently
decreed she would be allowed to wear it as the victor, even though she
wasn't gentry!

During the tourney the Lord Regent addressed the crowd about recent events,
saying:

Before we begin I wanted to say how proud I am to be here with you all
celebrating like this. A year ago our land was encompassed by Darkness, we
were fractured, we had lost so many. But in the darkness we came together.
Those of high rank, those of low. Knights, Reeve, Physicians, Merchants,
troubador and Order, we combined our forces, resources, and knowledge and
as a kingdom united we fought and we planned and we searched and we
prevailed. It is because of those efforts that we are able to celebrate
like this, free from those worries. I thank you all for that and for the
others who will be able to do so. My wife's home was in the Farin Quarter,
amongst the devastation. Her close neighbors, her friends lost. I feel
closer now and as she and I join our lives together, Lithmorran and Farin,
after this catastrophy, the way we have all pulled together, we as a
people, Lithmorrans, Farins, Vavardi, Vandagan and Tubori are all closer,
bound by common cause and experiences. We have come from the darkness, and
now we celebrate our life, our love. Thank you for coming and let the
games begin!

In subject of: The Court Announces the Cardinal's Death!
Date : Mon Jun 15 09:56:00 2015
Expires : Sat Mar 10 08:56:09 2018
To : all
_________________________________________________________________________
It was early on the day of Maius 20 when a surprise statement was released
by the office of the Regent. Simple and straight forward, the statement
was:

It is with great sorrow we have heard of the loss of His Holiness Iain
Roseren. The Cardinal was slain by an assassin's blade while administering
blessings within the Church of the Warrior-Saints Triumphant in the Farin
District of Lithmore.

His Holiness' message at the ceremony cleansing the Farin Quarter was that
of hope. Indeed, he has stood as a pillar throughout the chaos of the
demonic invasion, holding up us all with his tireless faith and hope in the
Lord of the Springs, and in humanity ourselves. We are still borne aloft
with his hope with his martyrdom. His faith and hope live on in all of us
that he touched, inspired, and blessed.

The Lord of the Springs blessed Dav with Laws for his Urthly Kingdom, our
Kingdom of Lithmore, to live by. Through these we will always defeat the
darkness of magic, the demons, the chaos; evil incarnate. We as a Kingdom
stand with unswerving faith in these Laws; the chaos and evil of the abyss
cannot find purchase here. Thus, with a wash of the Lord's cleansing
waters, remains hope for the dawn and beauty of tomorrow, even in the face
of tragedy.

His Holiness Iain Roseren has passed to his final reward well loved and
remembered by this Kingdom. We are forever blessed by his service, and
filled with hope for the future.

After a lengthy pilgrimage to the south, Grand Magnate Corlan dul Nulaam
has stepped down from his position after only a few weeks 'in office'. He
has released the following public statement:

I wish to thank all those who congratulated and wished me well in my
position as Grand Magnate, however I admit myself unfit for the role of
governing the Merchants' Guild and would serve as simply Magnate, if not a
simple craftsman. There are many abound who would appreciate the
privileges and responsibility of the position, and handle it much better
than I, seeing as I do not have the time to constrict myself to city limits
for lengthy periods of time.

I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion the events following the
release of the Farin Quarter may have brought.

_________________________________________________________________________
Early in the morning of Maius 20th, 366, word spread throughout the
kingdom that the Royal Council had appointed Sir Zumini de Moradar, the
current Grand Master, to become the new Lord Earl Marshall filling the hole
left by the departure of Dame Karrina ab Vazien.

No explanation was given as to why Vazien had been absent from her duties,
nor was an announcement made as to who would replace Moradar as the Grand
Master.
