I don't mind it personally. It's less spammy than emotes, and at least shows people are in fact RPing, and might encourage others in a crowded room to join or snoop on that location. I've no strong opinion on it either way though.

When mail is posted to ledgers, the headers, seals, and dates aren't visible.
