Re: GLing can be a thankless job. Are gambits making it doubly so?
If you refer back to gambit helpfile, you'll see there are a few different requirements that have to be met in order for staff to approve a gambit, including: - Gambits must be triggered by one of the following things: 1) An IC Event that thematically calls a GL's IC authority or behavior into quest...

Re: Backing out of POLCAs
Sounds like a bug to me if it's a POLCA. It should be possible to exit out of POLCAs with 'cancel'. You shouldn't have to disconnect to abort a POLCA. Editors are a different thing (sometimes utilized by POLCAs) that use @a in some cases, but not all. It's not currently possible to abort a note that...

Re: Physicians oppose Infrastructure?
Probably, things feel/are a bit unbalanced because the consequences for low metrics aren't the same across all metrics. They all work slightly differently, with some being arguably worse for certain guilds than others. In the case of the Merchants, low class relations probably seems a lot worse than...

Rumor request <emote>
I love the support request <emote> and influence request <emote> options. They are so great for clarifying RP around code mechanics without having to use osays or tells.

Re: Physicians oppose Infrastructure?
Again, I think the wording under CITY REPORT is a bit misleading. The Merchants probably aren't "against" or "in opposition to" class relations. They simply benefit (somehow) when class relations aren't great. The why or how of it isn't defined, though maybe it should be for our understanding... I'm...

Reduce the login scroll
Currently, there's 20-something lines added to the top of the login scroll, before one even gets to UPDATES which, by the end of the month, can add anywhere from 20-30 more lines of login scroll. On a smaller screen, I imagine it's really easy to miss the voting links at the top. Even for me, on a l...

Re: Batch Tool Clone.
I think you mean "tool all"?
That would be useful, probably: tool all.<new object> clone <old object>
Would make it easier to reuse your strings without having to clone each object one at a time.

Re: Tea recipes under brewing
Juices are necessary for wines. Moving them into cooking would require a brewer to take skills in cooking in order to make wine, which would also be frustrating. So I'd say that's not a great idea, unless we can start marking certain recipes as existing under more than one craft. Having medicinal te...
