    Caria ab Trenica

Titles: Earl Marshall of Lithmore, Countess of Brune, Knight of the Chalice, former Priestess and Inquisitor of the Holy Order

    Age: 66

    Birthdate: Aprilis 1, SC 286

Special Honors: First Female Earl Marshall of Lithmore and Longest Serving Earl Marshall in Lithmorran history.

Caria ab Trenica was born in Avonna on Aprilis 1, 286 where she lived
until her en passant which saw her travel to Lithmore.  After a brief stint
of service in the Order as a Inquisitor, she found her calling in the
Knights Lithmorran where she rose in it’s ranks until the retirement of
Grand Master Cei ab Sevoi.  To the suprise of many, Caria was picked by
Queen Richael to not take Cei’s place as Grand Master, but to the position
of Earl Marshall, which she has held for nearly 30 years.  While she has no
major exploits to her name, she is reliable and does her duty well which is
why she remains Earl Marshall to this day, despite her advanced age.

In recent years, Caria has been involved with many of the major upheavals
and trials of the Kingdom of Lithmore, from it’s recent war with Daravi,
being the one to instigate the war by recommending it to the Royal Council,
to actually leading the armies in Daravi’s lands, securing a large chunk of
the northern part of the Protectorates, now renamed Edessa.  However the
end of the war seemed to fall apart due to the Sultan’s involvement and the
armies for the most part returned home along with Caria.

With the death of Charmaine ab Harmon, a brief Regency followed as the
former Crown Prince Enakai had been disinherited, much to Caria’s
discomfort as she was old enough to remember the only other Regency in her
lifetime which led to a civil war.  The Regency lasted until the death of
the infant King born of Enakai’s wife at which point Queen Gemara ab Harmon
ascended the throne with Caria’s full support and backing.

After Charmaine’s death, Caria was granted full noble title as a Countess
of Brune, the lands of the former Lord ab Chettle, whom was executed by
Caria for murdering the wife of a Marquis, related to the Royal family by
blood.  These lands have received much of her attention in recent years,
going so far as to construct a massive Fortress in her lands to serve as a
new family keep and defensive position for the southern approaches to
    Lithmore.

It was not too long into Gemara’s reign when the whole Royal family took
ill and died from what many believed to be a mage attack by Daravi.  In the
aftermath, several individuals sought the throne in earnest to become the
next ruler of Lithmore.  Caria was initially amongst these people, but
withdrew to put her support behind her close friend, Cellan dul Ansari.

However, when the Lady withdrew herself, Caria returned in force, but the
realm had seemingly put it’s faith in the former Lord Justiciar, Tobin ab
Samael, now King of Lithmore.  Caria whilst holding significant support,
failed to convince the realm and even her supporters turned to Tobin in
    unity for his coronation.

With a failed bid to the crown and her influence waning due to advanced old
age, some are beginning to whisper that Caria’s tenure over the realm’s
military is soon to come to an end, despite being the longest serving in
    the realm’s whole history.
