Rich in farmland and growing soil, the land of Acrestinosa is dotted with
many vineyards. If you want to find wine for a cheaper price, it is said to
go to Acrestinosa. Also being a good place to grow strawberries, much of the
wine they produce is rich in fruit, the strawberries good for a variety of
wines, most notably strawberry sweet wine.
The land was passed to the dul Olivier family many years ago, granted to them by the Duke of Vavard with the encouragement of House Naevius of neighboring Vintrius, as Rosaline dul Olivier had helped them in the past. As the years passed, the barony changed and was made all the better for it. The lands were cultivated as farm land, most commonly for strawberry growing and fruits of the trade. White grapes were also in abundance, though the grapes became more established in Capua, where the blonde grapes are used for their famous brandy.
When Rosaline died, she left the barony to her daughter Roslynd, who tried to be like her mother and do as she did, but she experienced difficulties in passing the rules and regulations that she needed to pass. When Roslynd was executed on charges of treason, her son took her place, the Barony flourishing during his rule, despite the stain of his mother's crimes. Only a couple generations separated these occurrences from the current regime.
The Barony passed to Lyana dul Olivier upon her father's death to illness in 374. Only 18 at the time, she was tasked with running the barony along with her aged mother. She has run the Barony with efficiency, winning over her people with her calm demeanor and her placid temper, and the barony has prospered under her rule, segments of unused farmland even being used for flower gardens in which everyone may tend and an art studio made available to budding artists.
