In the OOC meeting today, we got a bit of a reluctant response about how high the priority is to getting this in game, so I thought I'd poll players to see how much people really want this in an anonymous setting. Beyond the below caveats, what would you like to see?
Current expected setup/caveats:
- RP under a storyteller (ST) will be consensual.
- STs in the first cut will not have special access to loading commands, etc, will simply agree to be the "Big Boss" of a scene and other players agree.
- Handshake system to say who is in and out of that agreement.
Later:
- Intend to include feedback systems.
- Include special commands such as loading, echos, etc, for more staff-like ability to open RP.
Storytelling
Ah, this answered some of my questions from the storytelling suggestion thread.
I think this is a great idea. Will be even better once more "temporary-GM" powers can be implemented, but also the rather limited version of simply being "in charge" of a scene could come to much use I think. I can see use for it not only for "quest-like" things, but also for parties and performances.
