In an extended war, the roads are key. Control of an important road can make the difference between getting your supplies and falling victim to the desert thirst, between getting in reinforcements and facing it on your own, and between pressing an attack on your foes and giving them a chance at the same. And it is on a contested road where Daravi and Lithmorran faces meet. This clash will determine the direction future battles may swing. Which side will you be on?

Time is nearing for another Daravi battle. This is an IC NPC quest.

IC means the battle will be RPed out and it will have a real effect on the state of the war in Edessa. The winning team will 1) secure a segment of road for, which will result in easier or harder transport, supply and maneuvering for the Lithmorrans in Edessa, and 2) determine the stakes if we do this again. If Lithmore wins, a next battle would be to capture a Daravi controlled fortress, and if Daravi wins, it would be to capture a Lithmorran controlled fortress.

NPC means that we will be providing you with already rolled up NPC characters. You can play on either the Lithmorran or Daravi side - we'll split you up evenly. We'll be reusing some from the last time, but with a bit of adjustment and some new ones. This allows us to have everyone on the same level and means you don't need to either bring your own character out of Lithmore or involve them in the risk of dying. This also makes it a great chance for people who have not tried a combat character or would like to experiment with something new. No experience needed!

Just show up at the time the quest will start. You can OOCly select one of the NPCs, you'll have a little time to discuss strategy together and then we'll get started after the first 30-60 mintues and go until one team doesn't have anyone left standing.

Please feel free to ask any questions in this thread!
