I would actually like to expand on the noble word and why it's so strong and important for players, not just noble ones, to understand.
TI is in times of very strong classicism. We have our freemen, who are a bunch of no ones, gentry who are no ones with money who dream to be someone's, and then we have our betters - the nobility. Nobles are people who were born into, privilege, who were given all the opportunities that people from the other classes generally cannot even dream off (with exceptions of course, especially amongst gentry). Like they would receive training from the best specialists in any area they want. They would never have to waste time on work, instead, can just pursuit their (family) interests. They would never have to deal with law treating them badly, or anyone besides other nobility treating them badly. Heck, they never even hard to starve, or know hunger. And if someone pisses them off along the way, all they have to do is give an order for that somebody to... well, give them time rethink their insolence.
By all measures and as far as population knows - nobles ARE better than the rest of us. Not jokingly called better, but actually better because of all the advantages in life they have had. And being a better in times of classicism means that if a freemen were to oppose a noble who wants him lashed for literally nothing likely result of that would be for the reeve to add even more lashes for daring to speak against your better. The idea of nobles being better than the rest of us is something well ingrained into almost every freeman and most gentry's mind from birth, and there are whip and other forms of punishment for those who forget.
