Similar to something else I posted in this forum, this is another article that talks about roleplaying. This is more in depth about the concepts of establishing realism vs the needs of the game in our roleplaying and it uses theatre as a jumping off point. Again this isn't going to be a perfect analogy as it relates to tabletop focus, but I think that it still applies in text. For those who don't know, I studied Theatre and English Literature in college with a focus in playwrighting. And so the jumping off point of the article is one that really speaks to a lot of my loves and how I approach things.
