Wolf spiders, iirc, aren't particularly dangerous unless you're allergic. Whitetails, redbacks (black widows), and mouse spiders are the bad boys of Australia, albeit Wikipedia states that wolf spiders were attributed to necrotic bites, but it's been disproven "with careful study". There's belief, however, that the necrosis in those bites may actually be related to specific chemistry of the victim, however, so there's misinformation out there. I wouldn't want to be bitten to test the theory.

Anyway, I hate spiders too.

Okay, at first I didn't get it. I was wondering what was so bad about all of the snow on the ground ............... then I realized it wasn't snow. I don't suffer from arachnophobia, but that made me uncomfortable. >.>
