I recall this being difficult to do, and I apologize if it's been discussed already ad nauseam. Would it be possible to make message 'all' some sort of global emit. I understand that it doesn't totally make sense (so maybe we can omit underground/wilderness rooms, presuming they are too far from the city and roads and therefore from even the most powerful criers?

It would cut down on the multiple message for people in the same room and probably make more sense if someone is just sending urchins to shout outside of windows.

Message all currently sends a town crier that works as messages do - everyone online can accept it or reject it and it repeats for each person that accepts it. This suggests going back to the old style of town crier messengers that sent one message out to everybody at the same time. This loses the ability to not get them when you're not in a situation where it makes sense to you, but it could have some upsides too.
