It'd be really nice if perfume strings could be canceled out by 'apply self dirt (emote)' in any outdoors room. That way people can't narrow down potential suspects of cloaked robberies based on smell, unless the person forgets. I know it sounds cool, but the freedom/choice to NOT be a fruit-smelling bandit would be nice.
Gracias!

Oh my glob. I remembered the second part of this now: Also, I'd like to suggest a toggle for messengers.
'messenger on/off' will not allow messengers to reach you. It will echo back to the person trying to list you as a recipient that: 'The couriers currently cannot find that person.'
Again, so in case I'm being sneaky and a courier comes along blaring a trumpet.

I believe there's another thread requesting that there be a way to wash off perfumes. Or maybe it was at an OOC meeting?
Also, you can 'message reject' if you get a notice about messengers trying to find you. I can't remember whether or not it informs the sender that it was rejected though.
Not exactly what you're asking for in this thread but I just wanted to let you know about these in case you didn't already know!

I believe the message you get if someone rejects your messenger is the messenger can't find your target. That's what documentation says you're supposed to get, anyway. If you're not, that's probably a bug.
This was suggested but unfortunately needs some code refactoring and different info to be possible. It may happen eventually - probably washing instead of dirt application, but not until that other stuff.Inertia wrote:I believe there's another thread requesting that there be a way to wash off perfumes. Yeah I put up a forum post somewhere about being able to wash off scents. I think they said it would be a difficult code.
