Bows

I was wondering, is there any way we can up the durability of bows? Between the frequency of bows getting broken (I had one go from excellent to poor in less than a week of training) and the cost of replacing broken arrows the cost is really rather high for bows vs arrows. Also when a woodworker is unavailable to mend it, it becomes even more difficult of an issue unless you buy a boat load of bows and make them disposable as well.
