The surplus supplies delivered from Lothos are currently being distributed to
those in need all around Southside. There should be plenty of food and drink
to go around there for a while now.

The whispers and rumors had already begun to circulate around Lithmore about
the recent frazzle occuring at the Royal Keep some day's ride outside of
Lithmore, when it was confirmed that Roland ab Harmon, the Man Who Would Be
King, is no longer within the custody of the Queen. Factions begin to emerge
amongst the guards responsible for him between different shifts, between
different loyalties along the lines of the Baronies the men had originally
came from. Several guards have apparently already been transferred.

Was the man released on purpose? On whose authority? Did he escape? How?

Some begin to whisper about things more dire on the state of his
well-being.

Official word does confirm that on the days prior to the 'King's' apparent
change in residency, the Keep was visited by the Lady Seneschal, though the
nature of her visit remains unclear. She herself has remained fairly quiet
in commentary on the affair except to note that clemency with a hope of
reconciliation has always been the majority desire of herself and the others
of the Council and that forgiveness is a pinnacle of faith.

Just as the council meeting was headed to it's ending, Baron of Macosta stood
before the gathered and made a passionate speech about the importance of
infrastructure, and how lack of proper maintenance for it leads to reduced
trade, a problem well known from his experience over governing his domain.

The speech was meet with pledges of support to not only fix the in dire need
of it roads, but also started a debate on how to resolve the problem of
ongoing maintenance so things won't fall into such disrepair ever again.

In subject of: Plans for Vandagan Chapel finalized!

News has been spreading from the Vandagan Quarter: Lord Dmitreva's plans for
a chapel have received enough social and financial support to move forward.
Indeed, while fellow Vandagans Magnate Popov and the Lady Earl Marshall von
Vashaak have both graciously pledged their support, so too have leaders and
individuals from beyond the Rosdokios Gate, including a surprising number of
Vavardi -- a fact that has raised more than a few brows.

While many Vandagans are far too proud to ask for financial assistance, and
would likely hold mass in the Market Alley before allowing themselves to be
beholden to the Vavardi, they needn't have to: the vast majority of the
chapel is to be paid for by Vandagan silver and built with Vandagan stone.
Yet, the myriad offers of support, so freely given and without condescension,
have touched more than a few cold, proud hearts. The message has become one
of solidarity: all Davites deserve a comfortable place to worship the Lord,
and it's high time the Vandagans had one, too.

A site for the chapel has been chosen, and construction is expected to begin
sometime in the next few weeks. Though, it will be many months before the
structure is fully built and furnished. According to Lord Dmitreva's
assistants, stained glass and furnishings will come from all over the city
and will celebrate the shared beliefs that bind the city's residents
together. Plans also include a special ceremony to mark the chapel's opening
and to commemorate all those who contributed to the project.

In a refreshingly short announcement, the former Proconsul Kieran ab Hawke
informed the citizenry that Zolin Tototl has resigned from the office of Lord
Justiciar, and will continue his service in the Reeves as Chief Magistrate.
He also announced that he himself will immediately assume the office of Lord
Justiciar before dispersing the crowd.

A wagon arrives through the north gate, a swarthy and irritable man perched
on the back. Word quickly spreads that he is Ordo Malleus, the new Proconsul
of Lithmore. A veteran Reeve from Wilhelm, he was reassigned to the city
following the scandal that left their senior ranks bare. Word has it that
he's intent on "putting an end to all this farcical navel-gazing" and getting
to the bottom of the investigation post-haste.

The city speculates wildly on his peg-leg and how he might have acquired such
an injury.

The sound of works did not dissapear from the streets for weeks, as workers,
mix of all layers and guilds, worked hard, inspired by the noble goal of this
endavor. Soon enough the roads were brought up to the quality where not only
wagons could cross safely, but even commoners praised them fo the easy of
traveling from one point to another.

Arriving Maius 6th 380 in the Barony of Asglen, the domain of Roland ab
Beaufort, Queen Celeste ab Samael threw the Baron's steward from his keep.
She announced that Roland was to be stripped of his nobility for trying to
claim her crown for his own, and that the Beaufort family would no longer
hold Asglen. A steward of her own would look after her interests in the
barony until such a time as she chose to grant the title again. The Queen's
thanks were offered to Keeper of the Seal Empena Astartes as well, for her
investigation into the matter. As to the former Baron and any who would
support him, she asked all present there to pass on her words: any further
action taken against her would be viewed, rightfully, as treason.
