Word spread quickly as the Physicians guild set about rendering aid to those
affected by the fires, and offering relief to those fighting the very same
fires that consume the Tubori Quarter.

It would seem the Physicians have taken control of Lightwater bridge, with
either side of the bridge being consumed by tents, with burned and weary
being tended to.

Though strangely enough it is not just the sick and injured who are being
tended to, but the brave who dare risk themselves in fighting back the
flames, lest they consume more of the city, are being offered warm food and
cots inbetween fighting.

On a cold day in Febuarious, a woman is seen walking down the street at a
clipped pace. Though her hood is up to ward off the cold, her purpose is
clear. Behind her are a dozen people of gentry rank carrying sacks of food,
winter clothing, and building supplies. The woman lowers her hood when she
gets to the collapsed Tubori quarter, revealing her facial features. Those
features are familiar to the merchant's guild hall and anyone who knows the
woman. Evani le Tavari makes her way toward the quarter, carrying something
in her hand, which is revealed to be, when sat down, a small basket with
colorfully detailed art. Leaning down, she takes out some tools and passes
them around to the people with her. "Let us get this area cleaned up." she
says in a carrying voice. They all nod to her and begin their work. People
begin laying out tables for food which Evani has made and others go to the
shelters of the alms house to deliver more goods. Through the day, it goes.
Evani hands out food to whomever approaches and offers to help pass out warm
clothing if they need. The day is cloudy, but the Tubori woman doesn't seem
to mind as she directs and sometimes helps with the smaller building
ventures.

A few days after word spread of the Tubori Quarter burning several ships were
seen pulling into the city's port. These ships belonging to a trading
company run by one Dorian le Andara quickly unloaded their burdens and begin
to sell thier goods near the Tubori Quarter. Stone, wood and building
supplies all offered at what seemed to be an obscenely low price. Yet the
goods were of quality as well, the price allowing to cover the costs and
providing a small profit without being expensive in the slightest. Tubori
were given priority as they scrambled to buy the low priced goods to rebuild
thier homes and shops. Word has it quite a few sailors from the le Andara
Shipping Company are helping assist the rebuilding efforts as well.

A flurry of activity floods Southside as wood, ore, fish and leather come
through the South Gate under the direction of figures in dark cloaks. The
night knocks with the sound of metal on metal and the echoes of mallets
hammering away are heard as Southside is turned into a work camp. For a few
short hours, slavery was almost a thing. @ By the wee hours of the morning:
tables, linen wrapped cots, and cloaks begin to funnel into the Mercenary's
Hall and by dawn, food and medicine is being delivered to assist the
refugees. If the Lord of the Springs had a face, it was anonymous to
Southside.

A dark haired man in his middling years joined a growing crowd at Town Hall
today wearing a cloak bearing the sigil of the Reeves. The crowd eventually
grew silent when he rose to speak, doing so in a voice cast with a distinct
Vavardi inflection that carried easily for those in attendance to hear.

"In light of the recent disappearance of Rimilde von Rievinkrintz and Hunapo
le Marama, I, Steven dul Greighton have been appointed to the position of
Justiciar. Due to their sudden departure from service along with a few other
key members of the organizational structure, my first act as Justiciar will
be consolidating the ranks, reorganization of command, and the introduction
of fresh recruits."

The gentleman gives pause as he scans the crowd, answering a few questions
posed regarding said reorganization before continuing on.

"Furthermore, as Lithmore faces its latest tragedy, the Reeves will be
allocating resources to our utmost ability to provide for the safety and
accounting of those displaced by the collapse of the Tubori Quarter. Though
these are trying times, the people of this fair city are resilient. We will
persevere."

He takes a stride forward and gestures to the crowd before lifting his chin
and calling out, "Further questions can be directed to my office."

Veilus Op Tethno, Poet Laudate of the Troubadours called a fast meeting of
all troubadours available in the Capital to the Hollow Globe. Rumors buzzed
about what was goign to be said when he'd show up on the stage, getting an
instant hush.

"As of this moment forward, Addienna Op Marama is no longer part of the
Troubadours. She is wanted for counts of Magery by the Order. She has two
children and her husband who has fled the city. Spread the news. If anyone
sees them, report to the Order first, then me." Veilus would state to the
hushed crowd. They immediately errupted into a flurry of questions for the
Poet Laudate. He'd raise both hands to have them settle down. "It is by a
good source that she has been reported to the Order. Please, just make sure
everyone knows."

The troubadours would spread out, sharing the news as directed by Veilus.
It'd take a bit longer, but even the other Troupes within the dutchies would
get a general description of Addienna Op Marama and Hunapo le Marama. It
seems Veilus Op Tethno was actively hunting them down.

A pair of secular warrants for the arrests of Rimilde von Rievinkrintz and
Hunapo le Marama are hereby declared across not only the city of Lithmore,
but throughout each of the Five Duchies, on weighty charges of immense
embezzlement from the Crown, widespread criminal corruption, and use of
public funds for personal ego.

Information leading to the arrest and capture of these criminals, neither of
which shall be any longer labeled 'Reeves', shall be met with monetary reward
from the Justiciar Steven dul Greighton's own coffers.

The Reeves guild has suffered a lot of turmoil recently, its leadership
disappearing into the wind and turning out to be criminals themselves. But
the guild isn't dead and a certain Tubori captain is going to make sure it
stays that way.

Gael Longarm, Captain of the Siren's Song has been reinstated as a Detective
of the Reeves in their time of need. He had the following public message to
give:

"Ladies, Gentleman... And any Tubori who haven't yet decided. I have once
again pledged myself to the Reeves, only this time I won't have lovely Tubori
weather. Now I know some of you might wonder how a man with only one hand
can be as much a benefit to the guild as he thinks. Well you've obviously
never seen me boxing, I have quite the mean left hook. But enough rambling
from me, I want you all to know you can feel safe and secure in your beds and
that unlike some of the guilds predecessors I will actually take my job
seriously. And if you have worries or concerns then you can always approach
me. Lord bless you people of Lithmore."

It's then said the man simply flashed a charming smile before waving to the
crowd with his hook hand and sauntering off toward the reeve headquarters.

At Mass and from Church Square and other places the faithful might be found
to congregate, members of the Holy Order read the following announcement from
Her Holy Honor, the Grand Inquisitor Empena dul Cybinese:

"In addition to their heavy crimes against their offices in the Reeves
Lithmorran, the former triumvirate leadership of the Reeves Lithmorran -
Rimilde von Rievinkrintz, Hunapo le Marama, and Jozafat Steenson are sought
and warranted by the Holy Inquisition for suspected consortion and conspiracy
with the mages Jakob ab Weaver and Addienna op Marama, and the purposeful
undermining of the work of the Holy Church and Inquisition for their benefit
and protection."

"Their willful acts have been to the detriment and dangers of the lives and
souls of the people of Lithmore in defiance of the trust and care placed in
them through their oaths of office. The body faithful across the kingdom are
called upon to bear witness and confess to any information that will assist
in their capture. The fugitives themselves are entreated to repent and
present themselves to the Holy Church so they might find penance for their
weighty trespasses."

Copies of the announcement are passed out from churches and chapels
throughout the kingdom - the red-bordered letters pressed into hands by
fervent Orderites.

The stoic figure of Lady Seneschal Margaux ab Aguarossa returned from a visit
to Lithmore's east, both back home to Eastgale and to call upon the Queen as
she recovers in Seahome. Upon returning to the town hall, she gathered her
staff together to make an announcement. "It is with much regret that I have
recently tendered my resignation as Seneschal to Her Royal Majesty.
Unfortunately, there is a matter that has arisen in Eastgale lately that will
demand my full and undivided attention, as a band against the good governance
of the Crown have risen in rebellion. As the realm's Secretary of Defense,
and as Eastgale's lady, my place is to be with my people and to see to the
proper defense of the land, our ways and our laws. Bless you all and thank
you for your service over the last year and a half."

The story seems accurate, with talk of rebellion in the hinterlands of
Eastgale, led by one Norbert ab Brandis, cousin to the former Baroness ab
Valareaux. His legal contest was turned down by the Queen, and he instead
turned towards armed insurrection to press his claim.
