Integrating Mud data with the forum
Hello, I'm not sure if this is possible, but can the forum code be set up to read outside data sources and reflect the information from it in their user profile? Specifically, if activity data can be spat out from TI, could that number then be reflected on the forum account? (Would obviously need so...

Integrating Discord with the Forums
Hello,
Is it possible to integrate our TI Discord channel with the forums to alert when a new forum post is made? If so, could have a specific "alerts" channel to avoid spam on the main channel.
Thanks!

Re: Inactive Players Posting on Forums
When you start a post with 'This is a stupid decision', how is it going to come across as anything but trolling? You only undermine any points that you may subsequently have by taking that sort of approach. I've voiced my disagreement with the staff over decisions in the past, and have never been la...

Re: Inactive guild member tax
If someone a) intends to be inactive and b) remain in their guild; could always pre-charge them with their membership dues, or charge a fee to be reinstated if they return (equal to whatever the guild was out of pocket while they were inactive). Another option for member-benefit style guilds (such a...

Re: Discussion: Dual Guilding to Removed
I've always found dual-guilding to create some pretty iffy situations from an IC POV and that it doesn't particularly jive with the theme very well. You can still work with other guilds as a support member without joining them through the use of passes and properly setting up your guildhalls. That s...

Re: Inactive guild member tax
The bard GLs have a command to grant the op, but I do not believe that they have one to strip it. Ergo, that suggests to me that it is not removed- mine certainly never was. Likewise with knighthood, once knighted you always carry the honorific of Sir or Dame, even if you leave the guild. (Although ...

Re: Magery and confession
The only time, as a priest/Inquisitor that I've had a mage confess in the confessional, was when they were about to (and then promptly did) kill me. My personal theological take of Davism (noting that I never really fully absorbed the softening of the Order from a couple years back), and thus the ap...

Re: Lithmorran and You
I concur with this suggestion (although perhaps setting it to 25 Lithmorran). If if it is expected as part of theme, give this for free (xp-wise) as a non removable skill. Hillmen, Toroshiro(j/k), Charali or Daravi (and others by special request) could ask to have their Lithmorran set at 0, if they ...

Re: [Poll] Theme Enforcement - the gentle approach
I can't really comment on any recent specifics, as I've not been around or involved with these beyond a tangential level. I've beaten on this drum before, but one of the important roles that the Court guild and the GLs of said guild in particular, played, was as watchdogs for the theme and a point o...

Re: System RP Detractors
Perhaps this thread could be broken out into individual topics for some of the major systems of concern that have been identified?
It is a little difficult to follow a thread when people are getting into the details of different systems.
