Re: Engineering
Well my problem is that the engineering skill would have very little recpes, even if we allowed to crafting all sort of medieval oddities beside the siege weapons. Simply because there was not that much of things to build for engineers for day to day life, have a look https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M...

Re: Engineering
Sounds like it could be just some more recipes for whittling and blacksmith. I mean why wouldn't a smith make parts for xbow or other metal parts, and then have a whittler put it all together (or vice versa)? I mean I really do not see putting those things together as separate skill, especially sinc...

Re: Display "last online" on guildlist
More of annoyance than actual issue, as when you try to find a member of a guild you wind up having to whois about 7+ people and try to locate their last online on whois pages of varying lengths. I've already triggered around it to solve it on my end.

Display "last online" on guildlist
Hi there, There is one thing missing when trying to find a member of specific guild online to talk with - their online indicator. As it is we can look at who if they are online, and at whois to see when they were last online. So could we have an addition for the sake of convenience and display the s...

Display power of dual attack in combat
It is a minor thing but slightly annoying that we cannot see Attack rating for our dual when we type "combat" so in order to measure that I have to switch weapons around. Can we just get our current value of dual into the combat command instead? So for people with empty hand it would display their p...

Re: Why use magic?
A lot of people end up feeling that they've seen enough magic not to be afraid, or that their PC is too stoic for fear, or some combination of the two, I think. I'm sympathetic to this problem; I have literally dealt with about two dozen different shadows on my long-lived PC. That said... I think t...

Re: Why use magic?
The fear of magic is something that indeed irks me with people. When Otois first ran into a mage I rolled a dice against d&d chart for reaction to terror (with some refinement to make it more suitable to TI) to see how it will affect him. Because this is one terrifying experience for a normal person...

Re: Why use magic?
However Misune, who hasn't grandmastered any skill, and only mastered 3 skills, would have a substantial amount more death xp than rhea if his rec level was 100% and they were both to die today. Hmm, I might be understanding this wrong, but why is that? And yeah, I don't see why the Manus, a new on...

Re: Why use magic?
Loving the rant ;) And maybe the solution would be to allow mages to gain really extraordinary powers by plots? I mean if they would manage to, for example, sacrifice 3 people in some ritual then those mages would become twice as strong as heroic combat characters? Or some other amazing powers that ...
