Re: GLing can be a thankless job. Are gambits making it doubly so?

There have been a lot of gambits over the last few months, so I understand why it might seem too easy to enact one. However, many of those GLs were inactive or unengaged and needed to be shuffled off. This is the gambit system doing what it was supposed to do. Members of the guild in question have m...

Re: Physicians oppose Infrastructure?

It's the Health metric, not the Royal Physicians Brand Perception metric. The helpfile for metric definitions even goes as far as to state that the additional sicknesses and injuries caused by a low Health metric causes the "strain upon the Physicians to increase to unmanageable levels". I think it'...

Re: Physicians oppose Infrastructure?

It's not really a complaint about 'needing' to subvert a second metric. It's that the effect these metrics have on our guilds make no sense whatsoever. Low class relations would actively hurt the Merchants due to trade grinding to a complete stop. We could definitely do with a reshuffle of which met...

Re: New Support Policy

I've been asked to give my own alt medical attention in the past. I delegated it. There are two GLs for every guild. It's not hard to find ways to keep your characters from crossing over.

Re: Physicians oppose Infrastructure?

By that logic, Physicians would benefit from low Health instead of high Health.

Physicians oppose Infrastructure?

With the new metrics thing, each guild now has a second metric which they oppose. Apparently Physicians are supposed to oppose Infrastructure. I find that a bit awkward to roleplay out because historically good infrastructure (sewers, etc.) have been good for health! I was wondering if we could get ...

Re: New Support Policy

Geras, I think what Kinaed is trying to express is that the situation you are describing should never happen. Because it would mean that two alts are heavily involved with the same character, and involved in one another's RP. If you feel that both of your characters would have an IC reason to suppor...

Relatedly, you can't use rumor influence on a rumor you've quashed, either.
I knew there was something I missed. It's was pretty annoying to find that out the hard way.

Make Quash Useful Again

As it stands, quashing a rumor you don't like is the last thing you want to do. It's counterproductive. Quashing rumors currently does the following: - Blocks you from posting any sort of rebuttal to the rumor - Blocks you from viewing the rumor in the future (which makes no sense. You should be abl...
