And to be fair to all the spoopy folks out there, if ice starts to have a crafting function, seems like a thing maybe a spell should be able to create.
Would love to see Water get a spell similar to Earth's that can restrain folks, or block exits, using a wall of ice.

Re: Anyone Know a Good Graphic Designer?

Are you looking for bland ads, or something that could pop?

Re: GL Changes and the IC Board

Could it be policy that whenever a GL position changes there's a brief IC post made about it? Right now it's optional, but the basics seem like something folks would know. That generally seems to be the standard anyway. Only very recently have we had it where a gl stepping down or some such hasn't ...

Re: Exile and its Implementation

3) Nobles are immune to the penalty of death, except in cases of treason. Exile is the common punishment for capital crimes. Okay, correct me if I'm wrong... but doesn't that seem kind of redundant? Seneschal: " Oh damn, we can't kill this noble, better exile them. " Rando: "But wait, by exiling th...

Re: Exile and its Implementation

Firstly, if we are treating exile as banishment from the kingdom, then I think it has no place in our game, a game that entire grid consists of one city in one kingdom. If we had multiple "Kingdoms" that were on grid, then it would have a place, but we don't. Secondly, If we are treating exile in th...

Re: Exile and its Implementation

For clarification, exile does not currently require people to be captured. It makes the assumption that the Seneschal is powerful enough to turn all vNPCs against the person to the extent that they are effectively 'captured off screen'. I think the actual removing from grid should work a lot like e...

Re: [Poll] Plot Staff

Or, how about additional rewards or incentives for player storytellers? You'd think you'd get a lot of recommends, but it's not always the case. Sometimes people just forget, and it feels... awkward to nudge. (Then again, it's possible I just suck at storytelling.) I definitely have to agree with t...

Re: Automatically being hauled to the Madison from a phome

I frankly like the idea of being able to choose a location to be transported to, as ultimately it creates more opportunities for rp.

Re: See door durability and/or lock difficulty

I actually rather like the idea of mercantilism being used to appraise the strength/quality of a door, and lockpick being able to appraise the type/difficulty of a lock.

Re: Feedback on Noble Projects

Well there's nothing wrong with a guild using it's assets to aggressively pursue it's agenda. Else they usually don't have much to spend their wealth in save for embezzlement. I don't disagree... I just think the price of such should be higher than a pitiful 1000 silver, especially considering if y...
