Re: Players Avoiding RP

I honestly like the idea of a reporting system for players who consistently disconnect, leave rp, or idle out. I think if a player is reported a certain amount of times in a certain timeframe, that some sort of punishment should be levied. What that would be, unsure. As for the length of poses and t...

I'd rather see this than Rats randomly spreading disease regardless of the health metric.

Re: Rats and Public Health

I do not feel there should be another system in place to affect Health. You already have weather conditions which can trigger diseases, certain other 'situations' can lead to certain diseases, and then you have the health metric itself which if low typically involves an outbreak. Con also affects ho...

Re: Inactive guild member tax

I do have to say one things surrounding the Honorific explanation that has been brought up. Let's take the Knights for example. I can understand someone who chose to "Retire" being kept on as an honorific, however if they themselves cannot remain active, it shouldn't fall onto the guild to keep them...

Re: Discussion: Dual Guilding to Removed

Dual-guilding and guilding in general had become such a thing that it was expected to be a "Right" of the players, not something they might have to work towards. It was blatant abuse of the system, yet if you denied them access people got on your back about it oocly and icly. I don't disagree with ...

Re: Inactive Players Posting on Forums

If you want to see a change in something, you don't abandon it and talk down about it from the sidelines. If you aren't actively playing the game, you aren't as aware of the events or atmosphere of the game that might have brought upon a change. I've rather disliked the turn TI has taken in recent y...

Re: Discussion: Dual Guilding to Removed

(This is all my opinion, and based on what I can perceive of the game. Any statements are based solely on my experiences and views, as such experiences and views may differ.) While I was initially quite against this change, I've had time to think it over. I think dual-guilding was an issue for a lon...

Re: Inactive guild member tax

I'd say a guild is losing nothing by having an inactive on their roster... However they are also gaining nothing. The only person keeping an inactive on the guildlist is benefitting is the inactive. They have the net that if they should leave for an extended period of time, they can suddenly return,...

Re: Inactive guild member tax

If a person is inactive for over 4 weeks, it's doubtful they are just taking a break. Even then it shouldn't be the responsibility of the GL to contact the person, but the inactive to contact the GL, or let them know ahead of time. Also after that amount of time, the person's ranks have already been...

Re: Discussion: Dual Guilding to Removed

I've heard the "It creates strange IC situations" meme being tossed around, can anyone explain to me what IC strangeness would be created by Dual guilding? Seeing as how Reeve/Thief and Manus/Order already aren't allowed, I'd be very interested to know what pairings were deemed so grossly unthemely...
