Re: Exile and its Implementation

While I've said my opinion on Exile, numerous times, given everything that has been said I'm just going to peace out on the topic and wait for the next use of the Exile command. Hopefully it will be handled better, and it won't appear as such a... Counter to the game.

Re: Exile and its Implementation

I have to admit my primary concern with anything that involves npcs/vnpcs, is the fact Villains don't have anything similar in their arsenal. Yes mages have alot in their arsenal, but your run of the mill crimain/villain, they don't have spells, so how would this balance for them? You have to rememb...

Re: Exile and its Implementation

I happen to like BK's suggestion about the city being put on high alert, though not a fan of the idea that 25 ip can be used to negate negative piety and lawfullness metrics. Would rather see the seneschal working with nobles to do that, since nobles presently have the capability of such.

Re: PSA: Why not to play a villain on TI:Legacy

Oookay. Just spent about 30 minutes removing reveals of IC information, commentary on ongoing RP, and some personal attacks. To reiterate the earlier post with a little more gumption: Do not reveal IC information, do not comment on ongoing or recent RP, do not name names (No worries to Tasker - poi...

Re: PSA: Why not to play a villain on TI:Legacy

What more do we want from these npcs that doesn't border on them doing the job of players? (OP omitted, accusing other player of cheating) I do not think this is a reasonable expectation at all. If you believe meta information such as the who list is being used, along with people's schedules, then ...

Re: PSA: Why not to play a villain on TI:Legacy

The brotherhood doesn't gain anything, to my knowledge, when a player is attacked and said player is typically safely transferred northside upon a good beating. I cannot call on those mobs to suddenly come to my aid. Southside thugs are lethal. After a good beating, players are permakilled by them....

Re: PSA: Why not to play a villain on TI:Legacy

Also I can't agree to the idea that just because there isn't enough reeves or knights to deal with a wanted individual that it should be free game... If the knights or reeves know they don't have the manpower to handle a target on their own, they ideally shouldn't go after that target in the first ...

Re: PSA: Why not to play a villain on TI:Legacy

But what is the definition of a serious threat? (Omitted, commentary on ongoing RP). I will never be in support of mages being free game, as it goes against the core theme of the game, and does more long-term harm to the authority of the Order, and you know the order loves it's authority, so I see n...

Re: PSA: Why not to play a villain on TI:Legacy

Ideally the knights should be handling mage problems, which is why reeves don't have special tools to fight them. The problem comes when there aren't enough knights around to handle a warranted mage. Same comes when there aren't enough reeves to handle a warranted secular villain. I think labelling...

Re: PSA: Why not to play a villain on TI:Legacy

(OP comment omitted for IC info reveal). Good, that's how it should be. You shouldn't be dealing with magic. Thematically that is the Order's job. (Omitted, a commentary on current RP) . We've had major IC conflicts about this very topic in the past. Secular and Religion are separated for a reason....
