Re: Trial removal of some OOC Channels - Update Feedback

One thought I had is tells should be enabled between storytellers and ST participants, or otherwise give participants an equivalent to pecho to share private actions with the storyteller. I've not had a chance to run or take part in an ST since tells were removed, but that's been in the back of my m...

Re: Trial removal of some OOC Channels - Update Feedback

I find myself missing tells from time to time, but it's not been a deal-breaker. It does feel easier to keep things IC with them gone- not seeing or making many OOC comments on IC happenings. I can't say I've missed guild channels personally, but perhaps a way to say "I'll get it!" when the guild gr...

Re: Dates on prompt

My use for the date on prompt thing would be primarily for logs- It can be hard to determine when something happened unless you tend to spam the 'time' command.

The Ravenous Wanderer - The Battle of Church Street [Log]

Prisca rides in from the west. Church Street West [ Warm, dark clouds, heavy breeze from the west, dawn ] Iron lamp-posts share curb space with tall, well-trimmed trees along the two edges of Church Street, as far apart as the banks of some rivers. People, wagons and other traffic flow between them...

Re: Class Relations and Merchants

I could see it maybe for the GLs, but not rank-and-file merchants. Overall though, I'd suggest looking at it as an opportunity to involve others- if you can't get something, seek out someone who can.

Instead of bulk recipes, how about an option to make a set number? like 'concoct compost 10'

Re: Determining Successes in Interrogations

I don't think there's any need to enforce a policy on how characters react to torture. OOCly, torture should not be expected to be effective anyway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Effectiveness_of_torture_for_interrogation Let people play it out how they like. There's other ways to RP it if a charact...

Re: Determining Successes in Interrogations

For torture, I'd say leave it to the victim's player to determine whether they would break or not, since they should know best what their character can handle. Some might withstand torture and not give anything, some might give in after being whipped a few times, and vinegar poured on the cuts, or s...
