Re: Adjusting heal rates
This way, at least, people who RP-wise ignore injuries still codewise suffer them in combat! Eating/sleeping will get back CURRENT HP to max, but the max healing should be happening every day, period, so long as you're still RP-active. And a wound should absolutely never take longer than 9 days at t...

Re: Adjusting heal rates
A couple things: 1) A prairie dog SHOULD have its damage capped so it only does a very small amount of damage; if it dropped you to 45% hp from 100% somehow in a single hit, that is insane and bugged, and typo-board that at once! This was intentionally done to prevent the "oh a rat killed me" proble...

Re: The unwritten rules of the Spar
Agreed; the fundamentals are sound now, but the lack of tactical depth is boring.

Re: Color Codes and You
So agreed. I'll absolutely admit terrible color is worse to me than terrible wording. But no matter how prettily you color a string, if it's badly written or describing an outfit I can picture and don't like, I'll definitely not go for it either. Strings that mess up grammar to get 59 are just a no-...

Tweaks to city report
Misc. tweaks to help with the city report system: 1) In city report, display how long it is until the cycle ends. You only know when to vote if you use the city support command, at the moment. (Also clarify how this is displayed; the current display isn't clear if it's days, hours, minutes, etc. Ins...

Re: The unwritten rules of the Spar
I don't disagree with you at all that it's not about winning! I usually do whatever's necessary to make a spar fun/lengthy, rather than whatever will cause me to win. But I think maybe by emphasizing fairness so heavily I've sort of mis-stated my point - so let's just call the issue 'subjectivity' i...

Re: The unwritten rules of the Spar
I can admit I haven't stringently tested this, but the problem with two in a row is that your attacking ability is yoked to your HP. So two attacks in a row means that when you attack back, you're not 30 hp down, you're 60 hp down or more; even if you attack twice in a row in turn, your two in a row...

Re: A beloved order
Grab bag reply! 1) Inviolate Confessional: The totally inviolate confessional is intriguing, and I think I like it, but I can't see how it would work for magery without kinda taking the heart out of Davism. An inviolate confessional belongs to a religion where there isn't a single sin that will damn...
