Re: Do our emote standards make TI less accessible?

I still think that it comes back to preference. People who like our theme and standards will stay. Those who don't will leave. If you are looking at retention that is a separate discussion all together.

Re: A general frustration of mine(and possibly others)

I will just quickly add that we as a game are really spoiled with Where. Not all games have it and it can be a really frustrating. I don't like the idea of Phomes being auto private unless we can change private to receive messengers. Sometimes I idle in my phome just because I don't want to go out l...

Re: Do our emote standards make TI less accessible?

I'm not a fan of purple prose, but I am a huge, huge fan of emotes that have more content and context than dialogue.
Can you define Purple prose because my mind keeps going to emotes with {M and I know that isn't right! :P

Re: Do our emote standards make TI less accessible?

I am of a split mind on the subject: Is it less accessible? It depends on how you define accessible. Some people are looking for the fast paced stuff and there are places where they can find that. Others are looking for a slower, more eloquent response. So part of the idea between accessibility in t...

Re: Court Dissolving - Your Questions Answered

I would just to add one small bunny trail on this list: 1) Only titled nobles are on the list. Gaven, not Emma, Tomas not Brynieve for example. 2) We actually need to clean up that list some as there are characters that have liquidated still on there and some that haven't been active in a long time ...

Re: [Poll] Seneschal Term Limits

It is rather complex I know, but I think others should have a chance at the role but if no one stands up to run for it and the incumbent wants to do it again they should be allowed to.

Re: Think using the emote syntax

The comma is a standard for lots of places. You can use it in some of the ooc channels as well:

ooc , loves pumpkin pie

echos

Gerolf loves pumpkin pie on the ooc chan.

I would suggest using the /self reference or using non-possesive tenses.

Re: Confessions

Confessions, to my knowledge, are not the perview of the Inquisition. Well... It depends on how technical you want to slice this. When I was cardinal it was explained to me (And to my knowledge the help files still reflect that) the order of progression is Acolyte--> Priest---> here you have to mak...

Re: Note Edit

As long as it is looked at, I am happy. If the answer is "Slow down and pay attention" that is fine, I just wanted to bring it up! Thanks, Kinaed.
