I think it's important to maintain the unique flavour of each element, which forces Mages to seek out others to learn spells of other elements to foster roleplay - rather than sitting alone in a cave and having your element be able to do everything.

That's basically the function of the current magecraft item as it stands.

There is already a magecraft for this, but it is very basic and can only be attatched to the head - so maybe this could be expanded? It's a cool idea, but I don't think it would be used very often because the risk of discovery would be pretty bigge.

I think it would be benefical to enable the use of tells to players while in the same room, this cuts down on local OOC chatter which might still annoy people but enables a quick message or clarification being sent to whomever.
