Log of OOC meeting - 23-07-17
Percival claims, "Can I take logs today? I'm endlessly hungry for QP." Temi says, "I'm gonna ask everybody at once." Bofaha claims to Percival, "Stop hoarding silver by the ton :P" Temi asks, "Now.. would anyone like to scribe for us today?" Azarial claims, "Okay, I should not be looking at the metr...

Re: Sharable recipe templates
I agree. This would make making basic dishes much easier for people who can't / won't figure out the stringing system.
Could perhaps tie in the copying of strings from another object into 'tool thing copy cookbookbook 01'

Re: My Inquisition stringing tool
That's odd. I rolled that functionality into the extended description box. You should be able to just type 'enter' a bunch of times into that and work in that space and drag out the text entry box. Is that not working for you?

Re: My Inquisition stringing tool
You're very welcome :) Update today: keywords are set as the last thing. This means that an object that is keyworded with anything which isn't in the original item won't screw up part way through. Coming eventually: Saving objects to local storage / importing objects from text / cloak descriptions /...

My Inquisition stringing tool
It's been posted around in game on the OOC boards, but I thought I'd share it here. It allows you to colour live in the editor, and even gives you substitutions for things like $n on the @eat. Enjoy! http://polyducks.co.uk/hosting/inquisition-tool/ Eventually I'll get it to a state where it's neat a...

Re: OOC Support Thread - You're Awesome and Here's Why
I second the recommend for Eirian. I've seen his estate and all the furniture. I love the anonymous roles the user plays. I won't mention them here. He spends a great deal of time fleshing out the in-game world. Also shout out to the player behind Empena. I had the chance to speak with her OOC recen...

Re: [Poll] Should restocks in stores show which metric affects the restock?
I think you're overthinking it. The metric is visible to give people more interactions with metrics as opposed to actively changing it to receive pineapples. Though you'll notice that fuel prices change a lot based on race relations IRL, and there are government agencies that dedicate a lot of time ...

Agree with Kipper.
Also it seems that the people arguing for the OOC message's removal are those with the most experience with the system. I believe it's important for all players to know this information, not just a select few, to help understand city metrics.
