Re: Rumor tell # <room>
+1. Would be highly beneficial for Troubadours and talkative priests. Maybe even antagonistic politicians.

Re: Whoinvis Discussion General /WDG/
I personally fail to see how this penalizes anyone, aside from dissuading people from hiding on whoinvis for extended periods of time. Nor do I see how it empowers anyone, because there are plenty of people that play immensely low-key roles that barely even use whoinivs, and have quite gone 'dark', ...

Log of OOC Meeting 2017-10-28
Temi queries, "Our agenda for today is: 1) Staff Updates, 2) Player Heartbeat, 3) Player Topics. To get started, does anyone have any topics that they want to get on the list?" Azarial gets a miko bag from pico, a text editor. Azarial stops using a plump, fabric Reeve doll with an oversized, turnabl...

Re: The future of whoinvis
I'm not against whoinvis existing at all. However, one must admit, there seems to be a bit of a problematic mentality surrounding it. I don't quite know why, but it feels as if a bunch of incognito, or otherwise antagonist players, feel the need to be consistently whoinvis. To the point in where it ...

Re: Player Control over City Metrics
TL;DR: The best solution I can offer to try and change things, is to find a guild that best represents your interests (The lone wolf dies, but the pack grows strong), and try and both get your GL on your side, or your guildmates. You'll be able to amass things slowly, but unless you have a web of co...

Re: Player Control over City Metrics
Well... Is the current metric system truly an issue? For example. Just a month ago, I assigned my influence among my guildsmen/women. By giving them the 'tools for the task' (2 IP) they were able to amass The other 3 IP from simply participating in the rumor system, and gaining political clout. At t...

Re: Gentry and the Southside
I felt flattered being used as an example by a player, but somewhat... Nervous, when directly namedropped when it became a question of policy. Though, I was told that a solution would be clear, as the following: There is something called -effective class-. It's kinda like a temporary boost, rather t...

Re: Leave evidence of lightning strikes
I think what starfish was saying, it's hard to actually put moods down about events that should reasonably cause a pretty large stirr-- When there's no evidence that it even happened. Honestly, if the object, or mood thing were to happen, I would say that it should only really occur if it actually h...

Re: IC Polling
Voting (Or at least knowing public opinion, or the opinion of your underlings) is pretty important, and I feel that missing out on a meeting shouldn't hinder your progress. While not a democracy, Lithmore tends to have organizations that behave more on popular opinion that would make votes/polls rel...

Re: Why Are Assets Limited to Chargen?
Let's calm down for a moment, and break down the issue, here. *Relying on the Asset Market. The point of this subject seemed to bring to light the issues in relying solely on player input on a system like this, and a error in communication. I can see both sides of this very clearly. The system, I e...
