Places Tweak

Places currently presents itself like such: Queen's Inn and Tavern [Cozy] A keyhole shaped doorway with a solid oak door bars the most notorious tavern in Lithmore from the rest of the world. Wooden tables, carefully cared for and of fine craftsmanship, neatly arrange themselves throughout the main ...

Re: "Batman Theory," or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the RP

I seriously despise the villain culture that's developed here. That's not an insult to anyone in particular, but more of an observation. There has always been this idea that being a villain automatically needs to come with benefits, or else nobody is going to do it, and I just don't understand that....

Re: "Batman Theory," or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the RP

For example: want to play a bandit that hates Vavardi traders more than anything, and camps out on the roads to and from the city to shake down any ponce with a 'dul' in their name? As it stands now, you're likely to rob someone exactly once before you're put away - and that first robbery probably ...

Assorted Suggestions

Just a few tweaks/ideas to improve (mostly) the covert quality of life: Include EAVESDROPPING in the 'see also' section of HELP SNEAK and HELP HIDE. And if there are any other nifty skills like that I don't know about, probably put them in there as well. Allow people with app 5, charisma, or really ...

Re: The End of the Regency

I'm worried that giving GLs yet more mandatory meetings to attend will lead to more burn out and less GLs. Also worried about the usage of plots and city metrics. Lithmore has gone through floods, plagues, magic attacks, political upheavel, near civil war, verges on apocalypse... The list goes on. W...

Re: [Combat] Attacks of Opportunity

Would definitely vote for this to take high priority vs anything else. Generally think it's a good idea to test/fix/optimize before adding anything new.

Auto Movement

That item is too far away to take. [HELP MOVEMENT MOVE] This is probably the most annoying message to ever see. Could we maybe get a toggle to toggle on auto move to items/objects/etc that if you're not close enough and you're trying to do some shit to that thing, you auto move towards them? Probab...

Re: PvP, PvE, and You

What would be the payoff of going through the Orkin Wood? Why would I ever want to go in there? Are there really some players who enjoy fighting npcs so much they would just slash through for fun? It seems like an element to cater specifically to those more inclined to hack and slash; which is fine,...

Re: Hide Thread

Further testing: I've had people see my hide thread on this message: A person wearing a hooded cloak of black linen, dramatically full in its cut conceals itself as best as possible. And then, of course, I'm hidden so they can't see me without the search command. A little immersion breaking/frustrat...
