Re: The Stranglehold of the Holy Order
if you say you are sinning with X or Y, expect the inquisitor will hunt them. While the priest won't. This entirely depends on the Priest and/or Inquisitor in question. Again, we are trying to OOCly pre-determine or pre-guess other people's RP. Just because you are a Priest and not an Inquisitor do...

Re: Creative, Thematic Punishments
My question with coded amputation is given a lot of things aren't coded for "handedness" on TI for example we have an inventory separate from our hand slots, how functionally does that work? How one that be represented in code?
Would staff entertain a stat change for something that severe?

Re: Mail profile edit cost
I'd say that given it's something you made yourself (arguably) it should fall under retooling policy and be able to be edited for a silver. You should have to pay for each profile that has a header or footer when you set it up, not each time, the price to edit and utilize IMHO keeps them from being ...

Re: The Stranglehold of the Holy Order
Name redacted says OOCly, "Okay, so I checked with Temi, and apparently it is a tradition for some nobles to only confess to bishops." If we are discussing over multiple threads the concern over Order players having active ways to engage with people, I'd like to raise the concern about the idea tha...

Physicians of a certain rank and above would also, arguably, be a good potential source of RP. That might be trickier as depending on what is needed (IE actually coded healing/treatment versus just RP stuff) as actual face-to-face might be required in some way.

Re: Mages and confessions
On that note, I honestly feel like this recurring unending phantom fear of not wanting to do X thematic thing because Y might happen is getting to be all but crippling. The shadow of doubt at other people's motives on the OOC at this point has taken away so many things (Top Ten Activity names, displ...

Re: Mages and confessions
We can't control how other players choose to have their characters view our characters — and, sometimes, we don't grasp how we come across. I would humbly argue that this is a difficulty we are currently struggling with as a community and have for a time. Wherein when people aren't seen/understood ...

Re: Reversing the Autoguildings
RPing something that started as a bug is a bit awkward because some of those scenarios suggested might lead to negative IC consequences for the GLs and/or the applicants from no fault of their own.

Re: Mages and confessions
How arguably is a Priest or Inquisitor knowing some one is a mage and "letting them get away with it" long term not some form of collusion or consortion? Because it's been argued any form of knowing repeat communication with a mage as an Orderite is problematic if not heresy or worse. But what ultim...

Re: Mages and confessions
But it doesn't help when order leadership tend to have differing interpretations. So let's say you are a priest during one GI, and they held a certain interpretation, however in comes the next GI who interprets it differently. Creates a bit of a problem. I'm not sure that's different than any chang...
